Just get the old Battlefront 2 on steam and install the Battlefront 2 Remastered mod from ModDB. It's 20 dollars cheaper and the mod fixes a lot of issues from the pc version of the game. Not only that but it also has heaps of modded content as well as multiplayer support.

The classic edition is some of the laziest crap I've ever seen from a rerelease. Looks to me all they did was rip the console version of the game and upscaled everything up to 8k using AI without touching up any of the visual artifacts created from the upscaling nor did they compress ANY of the textures (which likely explains the massive game size). A lot of sounds are either missing, incorrectly pitched or completely wrong, they promised cross-play which is a complete lie, rebinding my controls was super bugged especially in multiplayer and I found a handful of graphical bugs and gameplay issues just from the 43 minutes I had with this game alone. Even if they ironed out most of these issues which I highly doubt they will I still cant get over how lazily this game pushed out and I feel like a complete tool for joining the hype train on this one.

Such a great game with beautiful art direction but it desperately needs an actual multiplayer mode not just some garbage "couch multiplayer" mode.

I bought this game because I had a serious itch to play a new racing game. My expectations for the story telling was absurdly low because to be honest NFS has never had very good storytelling so I was able to brush the absolutely abysmal dialogue aside. What I could not ignore however was this games absolutely atrocious handling model. This is especially apparent after just recently finishing a few of the Blackbox era NFS games prior to playing this one. It's really hard to explain but your car just kinda snaps in and out of a drift and everything just feels super stiff. I tried screwing around with the live tuning but I just cannot get anything to feel smooth. I wish they could just replicate the handling models of the old Blackbox games, they just played so much better.

The Create-a-Wrestler in this game is VERY limited. I was really hoping I could make a bunch of wacky zany characters like the old days.

This isn't necessarily a bad game, but it's a bad stealth game. Let me explain why:

The Hunted system is absolutely broken. The status of getting "Hunted" occurs once the enemies are aware of your presence, and once you're being "Hunted" then every single enemy within' the vicinity will begin heat seek to your exact position. This sounds fairly reasonable if you've been spotted by an enemy for a bit and they've seen where you've been and they're just checking that general area, but this can also occur when:

- A random faction war begins that you have absolutely no control over.
- A dead body is found, which become anchored to the ground and you cannot move (which should be expected for a stealth game made as recently as 2017).
- An explosion goes off, even if it went off miles away from your position and there should be no way enemies know where you are.
- An opposing faction spots you and suddenly all information from one faction is also magically transferred to the other even though they are opposing factions.
- A shot is heard (which makes sense obviously but this applies to suppressors too. The game gives no information regarding how the sound is traveling or how far away you need to be in order to not be heard. All they give is some arbitrary "Noise Reduction" bar that gives little to no useful information). This is also painfully inconsistent because sometimes you can shoot someone near someone else at point blank range and nobody will hear it and vice versa.

This doesn't necessarily seem that bad on paper but it becomes extremely annoying when every time something insignificant happens that shouldn't reveal your exact position occurs and suddenly every single enemy within' a 1 mile radius suddenly knows your exact position. And then you get sniped by some jackass dual wielding MAC-11s because enemies have perfect accuracy no matter what weapon they're using and no matter what range they're engaging you at.

The missions are also indescribably dull and feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chore to do. If I had to sum this game up it's just Third person Farcry 3. It doesn't try anything new or ground breaking, just the same old copy paste open world ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you're into that then this game is right up your alley, but I will not be returning to this game anytime soon... or at all for that matter.

One last thing. If you plan on getting this game with the intention of playing this with your friends... well all I can say is have fun getting disconnected every 5 minutes because the Ubisoft servers suck monkey tits.

Wicked fun game but forced mouse acceleration is kinda stinky.

Indescribably Boring, missions that break when you don't do them the exact way the level designers wanted you to do them, and forced aim assist on mouse and keyboard to top it all off. I was really hoping to find reasons to like this game because conceptually it's really cool but it's just a shill cash grab like a majority of Ubisofts other projects.

One of the least welcoming communities I've ever seen.
