What was once a wonderful game which has given me many memories is now a shell of it's former self thanks to Valve's Laziness. You'd have thought valve would have learned from the last save tf2 campaign but in actuality they learned nothing and now we're all suffering. This game has earned valve millions and yet they're content to let this game languish while us poor schmucks have to deal with every lobby being filled with bots, those bots constantly cheating, and every other bit of cheating and all because valve would rather focus on a hero shooter no one cares about while letting their IPs languish. I hope valve will wake up and save TF2 but at this point I doubt they even care

Since the latest update this game has devolved into a significantly more buggy mess that crashes more, is way more buggy, breaks ultra settings with amd cards at least entirely, oh and still doesn't work right with the steam deck from what i have been seeing on the forums. the only way i can get this to launch now with my rx 6600 and my r5 5600x is to run on low settings but when i launch steam doesn't seem to track my time played. how did bethesda bungle the update this badly? For reference on how bad ultra settings are bugged as soon as you click play from the mini menu that pops up it just insta crashes. even new vegas and 3 at least wait until you click new game or continue game

much like the original release way back in 2011 this game epitomizes what is wrong with modern gaming. while on the surface this just seems like a streamlined western rpg with a cool premise ultimately this isn't even a competent RPG and despite what your nostalgia goggles and rose tinted glasses would have you believe this is actually a terrible game that wasn't even good when it was released. Hell this i would go so far as to say is actually the worst mainline entry to the Elder Scrolls series at all. The combat is terrible, the magic is dumbed down, the quests and even story are dumbed down, the factions suck, all the complexity and cool stuff such as the systems to make your own spells are gone and even the durability is gone. and for what? pretty graphics? that sucks because at the end of the day all you have is a game that is a hollow facsimile of an entry to the Elder Scrolls series that falls flat of any real fun. Hell about the only thing this game has going for it is the modding scene which thanks to starfield and the pro censorship folks at nexus is dying off.

This game, this freaking game. When i played it through family sharing i got the worst eye strain and motion sickness of my life, didn't help that the tracking was also WAY off too to the point where even aiming directly did nothing. This was easily one of the worst vr experiences i ever had.

The last good game in the FATE series.

I've been playing this game as well as the series since they launched and i always get some major enjoyment out of it. This is genuinely the gold standard for Dungeon Crawlers as well as diablo clones and Action RPGs in general. It is honestly a shame that Action RPGs and just the dungeon crawler genre in general didn't take cues from this, if they had maybe we wouldn't have gotten the embarrassments that were Diablo III and Diablo IV as well as the many other disappointments in the genre and even the last game in the FATE series which killed the series in general aka The Cursed King. Ah well there's no use to dwelling on What If's and all that but, you should buy this game as well as the original and Undiscovered Realms.

9/10

DULL AND UNINSPIRED

If you know me you know i am a fan of hack and slash games as well as dungeon crawlers and diablo clones in general. This game however is dull, mindless, drivel not even worth spending your cash on. lets list some of my cons for this game; ugly color palate, mediocre classes, boring quests, boring combat, boring locales, and mediocre weapons. I've seen better from low budget half-assed diablo clones and even from purposely rushed shovelware. This game is so bland that while i have eight hours in it these are from my spurts from trying to get myself to get any enjoyment out of this game and yet after the hour and a half mark i find myself so dreadfully bored that i uninstall this game and don't come back for months at a time because it's genuinely that forgettable. this is at very best a 4/10 and even that may be generous.

if you are a long time fan of FATE who has played the other games in this series here is my heartfelt advice for you, RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN; THIS GAME SUCKS AND IS BROKEN. seriously though, poor progression, poor loot scaling, locked chests but good luck getting keys, oh and you can get softlocked from progressing past the caverns of living fire if you decide to blitz through and just go for the boss instead of doing a bunch of quests along the way, gosh this game legitimately gets worse every time i boot it up

It's a 6/10. Nothing to write home about but it's not terrible either. Like IGN was wrong with their 4/10 review. Graphically this is late xbox 360/ early xbox one era and gameplay wise this is late xbox 360 which isn't a bad thing imo. I'd highly recommend playing this at least once yourself and to form your own opinion instead of relying on reviews. as of the current edit i have played this for a few hours and only ran into an audio bug which gets fixed by just restarting the level you are playing.

i got this game back when it was CS:GO and put the majority of my hours into the xbox 360 version. this is genuinely a step down from global offensive. in fact i'd call this a genuinely offensive release for how terrible it is. my issues are: bad stuttering the likes of which i would understand if my pc couldn't run the newest AAA games at 4k medium 60fps, bad matchmaking, rampant hacking and cheating, the removal of good game modes such as arms master, janky controller support, and on top of that this just isn't fun anymore unlike what this used to be aka CS:GO. valve seriously dropped the ball with this. when multiple VR knockoffs do better than the actual game devs you know things went seriously wrong
