A healthy balance of both creative and competitive gameplay with loads to offer in each update.

For newcomers, don't be discouraged by the almost blank and uncanny appearance of The Finals. That's the point. There are plenty of free weapons, gadgets, and cosmetics to be unlocked and used to tailor the game to your liking. Even the game modes are unlike anything seen before in other games. Again: DON'T be discouraged by this. The Finals encourages people to strategize and use all the tools you have to beat opponents. This makes almost every round completely unpredictable since you don't know if you will be dealing with rooftop sharpshooters, grenade spammers, melee assassins, minefields, turrets, walls of goo, pyromaniacs, magicians, reality benders, building redecorators, etc. All while trying to collect sweet sweet cash in various ways depending on the game mode.

All these random possibilities kinda make the game difficult to balance, so I recommend researching what weapons or gadgets to unlock first if you REALLY just want to win. But I find that losing games and learning what works for yourself is just as fun though.

Finally: The theme for this game is AMAZING. The soundtrack is surprisingly good and always a joy to listen to. The aesthetic is generally retro, but the customization still allows you to be a anything from a western gunslinger to a ballerina.

This game would be great if it just had an offline mode. I won't recommend this game until that happens

This is the "Crab Rave" song if it was also a 360 no-scope 420 smoke-weed-everyday MLG montage. Buy it.

The masculine urge to get lost in the woods with your mute buddy, build a cabin together, and slaughter a bunch of screaming bald people! :D

Super addicting and satisfying to play. DRG appropriately rewards you with free cosmetics and and weapon overclocks that totally change the game on top of the already randomly generated environments and enemies. Considering how awesome the developers are at updating and listening to the community, this is looking to be one of the best games of the decade. I highly recommend getting on this game now before it becomes even more popular.

I am in awe of how lazily put together and pointless this game turned out to be. Onslaught is a shamefully dumbed-down version of the gameplay in Saints and Sinners with a very boring story.
Gameplay: The first and only weapon you need in this game is the knife. One stab to the head. That's it. Guns for some reason take 3-4 shots to the head to kill a normal zombie. Then the missions are either blatant mazes for padding the game's runtime (the campaign) or missions where you are urged to go pick up supplies in random buildings (the filler side missions).
Story: Only two missions into the story and it is painfully boring. There is no hook, nothing to keep the player interested. It's just Rick and Daryl arguing with each other at first. Then the end of the second mission finally brings up some conflict about a random missing person that no one has ever heard or cared about before. At that point I was just too exhausted from wandering around a maze of nothing. I immediately turned off the game.
I'm going to refund this so I can buy Red Dead Redemption 2 on sale for $40.

And the graphics are really bad too I guess. Like, that alone is reason enough to refund.

I spent 15 minutes trying to kill a squirrel because I was starving. But get this: after a quick Google search, I find out that you simply can't kill them.... It's even a game objective to cook animal meat but I'm unable to find anything other than these immortal squirrels who tease my efforts with their very presence.
Go play ARK. The beasts there are likely to maul you, but at least that's funner than starving to death....

Lastly: The hud (and everything else) is painfully lacking in creativity. Lastly, lastly: Crafting has never been so tedious.

Prepare for a competitive experience. If you can't handle that or simple portal physics, then don't make a negative review after playing. It's free and the developers truly seem to care about this game. Just have fun.

Every game in Rapture Rejects is quick and fun; a nice change for the Battle Royale genre. I once played a game with 2 other players and we were spawned close enough together in a small circle so that the game was exciting and didn't drag on forvever. Doesn't really seem like a 20 dollar game, though. It needs more guns and general content to make it werf.
