This is one of those little indy games that lasts all of 20 minutes, nothing is explained, and I have a few questions at the end. Well worth the current $1.50 asking price.

But I enjoyed it. The driving is perfectly fine and the area is interesting to look at.
The story, while minimial, is enough to make me ask questions.

My only complaints are that it's short, the bus lacks side view mirrors, and I was unaware of the spacebar being the move dialogue foreword button.

This game runs well enough that I played it on the highest settings with zero issue.
Much to my determent, The particles were too beautiful for me to turn off. This made things difficult due to shotguns instantly causing the world to be nothing but smoke, fire, and screams.
It was fast paced, violent, loud, and beautiful.

My only real complaint is how short it is.

To any future employer or government screening. Yes I have played warthunder.
No I do not still play warthunder. Nor do I intend to pick it back up.

It's a shame that this game is apparently abandoned, because it is fun.
However the last developer update was in june 2020. None of the things talked in that update have been added.

First of all this is a free demo, it's 2gb and takes about 90 minutes to complete. You should at least try it as it's kinda fun.
Do I recommend the demo, yes. Do I recommend the full game. No, it's not out yet, I can't tell you if it's any good.
I am writing this more for the devs than players.

PROS:
Looks good.
Levels load in a matter of seconds. (on an SSD)
Unit variety is decent.
Controls are mostly up to modern standards. (WASD for camera is a rare and good thing)
Tutorials are solid. I was not annoyed at them, and they are optional. (THIS IS RARE, GOOD JOB)
Vehicles being controllable with WASD is a godsend, and I love whoever implemented it. (EXCELLENT JOB)
Voice lines tell you exactly what a given guy is doing or has just done. (running out of water, breaking down a door, putting out a fire, ect)

CONS:
The water system sucks. I hate it. Having to run all the dudes back to the truck is rather tedious and gets old quick.
Maybe I just played too much Emergency 4, but it's kinda dumb to me.

The AI is dumber than a load of bricks. Moving them near fire should have them start fighting it. Instead they just stand around.
The AI also will stand in a fire to fight a fire across the room, run out of water, stand there, and die if you are not paying attention.

Voice lines stopped on the last mission, making these issues worse.
Reviving a civilian does not automatically carry them.
No unit grouping. It makes figuring out who is where a little easier at times.
Fire spreads too quick through walls. It's really annoying when the fire will jump sides of a wall faster than you can get it out. Especially on the first mission.
Fire actively being put out spreads too quickly.
Sometimes hard to figure out what is on fire. (mini map helps sometimes)

I do somewhat look foreword to the full release, and will be keeping my eye on this.

There are mods to remove traffic.
I need these mods in real life.

The Campaign is exactly what would happen if Ubisoft made halo. If that is good or bad is up to you.
Also vehicle controls suck and I want the head of what ever fool programmed them.

HEY! Check out these new events, let me show you all of them. slowly. with voice over. that you can't skip.
Also no you can't shut off the radio. it's always on, the volume only goes to 1. That's not off, its still on, they REALLY want you to listen to random crap ALL THE TIME. You can change the station to no station... but it changes back.
Everything else is fine, but only getting a race or two before someone rambles on and on and on and on about some useless crap for a minute or two is getting on my nerves.

LET ME ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RACE, I DON'T CARE THAT ITS NOW SPRING AND CARS ARE RACING AT 720p IN CUTSCENE THREE.

So three minutes and five frames later I discovered that 187g's, at mach 3.7, sitting roughly at a 1000m of altitude was a little more than that plane could take.

Of course bob survived though, I have landed worse than a cockpit and landing gear

This is honestly better than most modern shooters.
Sure it's not that pretty, but the gameplay is what matters, and it's pretty solid.
For $5 it's well worth it.
