Amazing game. Very immersive. Best played with friends, but a blast any way you play it.

Great Expansion ☺

I agree that it is kinda pricey, so if that bothers you a lot, just wait for it to go on sale. In my opinion, this expansion makes Civ 6 much better than Civ 5. The new leaders and civs are great, and the gameplay is much more interesting with all the new mechanics.

Music is GREAT, love how it evolves through the eras, and a few civs have songs that are absolute bangers. As much as classical music can be considered a banger.
This game takes a bit of time to truly master, and its much easier to master if you have experience with the civ franchise, however, once you learn the game and play against other people of your same level, its a blast.
Gathering Storm, along with all the other expansions, make Civ 6 much better than Civ 5.
If you're only planning on getting the base game, I'd say hold off and save up until you can get everything.
For full enjoyment, play against other humans.
