Can't bhop like I can in Quake 1. Whatever this "strafejumping" is supposed to be...its unnecessarily complicated and lame.

Everything I love about Team Fortress Classic but improved. If only the Spy could have kept his Hallucination Grenade though.

First off go into launch options and type in -unlimitedsaves. Next I recommend Olde's guide on the species, Multiplayer is dead pick a buddy to play with and finally watch a youtube video for the Hangar mission for Marines. Because the game doesn't tell you how to slay the Queen. And no it isn't with your Pulse Rifle or Grenades buddy.

Now. This game is pretty hardcore and fast. I completed each campaign on Directors Cut difficulty.

Aliens Campaign: A lot of people point to stealth aspect of this mission and while you may do that. The Xenomorph is very formiddable in combat to the point where you'll wonder why did you bother with stealth? You can easily tear down a Marine or Civilian in seconds providing you are fast. I recommend pouncing. The real threat for me was Synthetics and Smartgun, Shotgun and Grenade Launcher equipped Marines but again. Just be fast. Don't be stupid though....I didn't have that much fun since it was pretty easy even on DC difficulty. But I like Xenomorphs I guess so I stuck around for that...it had moments! biting heads off is surely satisfying and the chance to send humans into a fearful frenzy or static trance is verrry amusing. Bind R to taunt and try it buddy!

Predator Campaign: I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loved this one the most. If I had to sum this campaign up with one word. It'd be "Crysis" thats how it felt the whole way through honestly. You're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walking Tank built for absolute murder. Play this on Directors Cut difficult ♥♥♥♥♥. The Predator is OP enough but he does have his weak points which if you are stupid enough to not consider you will be embarassingly torn down by Humans and Xeno's especially when you face the Xenomorphs. Don't underestimate them. Ever. Unlike the Aliens OPness which began to bore me. The Predator is enjoyable with each and every kill you make. Seriously!

Marine Campaign: Haha holy ♥♥♥♥ was this hard! I never quick loaded so many times but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you feel the spirit of the Marines the whole way through especially with that Beret dude on the screens and honestly the bigger challenge leaves you feeling badass after each mission completion. Also this is important to know. You don't get the Shotgun in this without the use of a mod I believe look it up. But the weapons you have are great enough. You may be a smol boi in a world of monsters but your guns become the real monsters! no not your muscles you silly billy you want to arm wrestle a Yautja? (Predator) yeah didn't think so pal. Get out of here! but buy the game first.

You get a double barrel.

The games darkness is a meme. You can see everything. Absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ recommend playing this like a Ninja. And by that I mean abusing sprint and bhop to be an acrobatic, dodgeing horror on those poor demons. The game is unfortunately easy for about 10 hours...after that you learn what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hell is. That is to say. I played on hard. Don't play on easy or normal you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥. Don't.

Other than that holy ♥♥♥♥ it's amazing. You could tell this game was a labour of love. BFG is probably better but I played this first! and I don't have BFG! so what can I say!? OH! btw you can FIX the widescreen issues with a GUIDE in the GUIDES section! it's not hard to read! BFG is probably well more optomized but I don't haaaave it! go read the reviews on there! assuming you don't stumble upon useless diehard doom 3 fans warring over the addition of shoulder flashlight lol.

Also I have discovered a fix for a prevelant and listed as "unfixed" bug (on PCgamingwikia) in which enemies will suddenly twitch between visibility and invisibility sometimes the latter remaining permanent oh dear! have no fear! here's what you do. Find a safe area, do not pause it's not needed, open up console, type in vid_restart and wait DON'T ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PANIC! just wait! goood no more invisible enemies! for at least 20 minutes...lmao.

YEEEEAH IT'S A GREAT GAME BUDDY WOOOOOOO NOW BUY IT OR SOMETHING!
