a short and sweet story.

It's Garry's Mod, a legendary PC gaming classic. You ♥♥♥♥ around in a 3d sandbox with a variety of tools and mods, and it's great when you're in the mood for that kind of thing.

I enjoyed it more often than not, but don't expect stardew valley like I hear this compared to a lot. This is a lot simpler.

expect asteroid mining and nothing but asteroid mining. Going in with that expectation, this game is great for what it is.

It's free and well-made.

It's good for what it is. don't expect combat or anything fast paced, this is a slow and linear crafting game.

terrible combat, even worse introduction that doesn't even give you all the tools for fighting your opponent when they have every single move available to them. Mount and blade combat is better. At least there you can respond to ♥♥♥♥, here, it's basically a clunky string of cutscenes during combat triggered by certain attacks meeting other attacks or blocks, some of which force damage on you with no way to respond.

And to this day, it's a badly coded mess. Bernard just let me bleed to death after training instead of full-healing me and I can't fix it. I also killed Kunesh in Rattay and he, just got better and was begging a few days later. Guards also have a 6th ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense when you knock someone out in their bed on the 2nd floor when not even the person next to them noticed, and run upstairs from the street outside to arrest you.

another minor pet peeve is the devs keep plastering their ugly mugs all over the inside of every chapel and church and breaking the immersion im desperately trying to experience despite all the glaring issues, and the look of the church besides.

one of the weaker DLCs in terms of content, but the mods using it more than make up for it.
