It's a good solid game like you'd expect - pretty much an improved version of the original Portal.
There are new visuals, sounds, events and, of course, test chambers. Everything I appreciated about the whole concept of portal is brought again in this one along with an exciting story to follow and all the great puzzles and mechanics. This game is still fun to come back to and play again - both in single player and multiplayer.
True classic!

If you've ever played any first person shooters, you're probably somewhat aware of the many similarities these games share. Call of Duty, Battlefield, Medal of Honor, CS:GO etc. have many similarities that have nowadays become almost like a standard among the FPS genre games. That said, after having tested Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six siege for about 100 hours now, I'm happy to see that not all shooter games have to be that tied down. Rainbow Six not only shakes things up a bit by bringing new mechanics, gameplay styles and themes to the table, but does it in style. Winning a round by waiting 30 seconds in a corner for that two-pixel peak the enemy accidentally pulls off and gets themselves killed by has never felt so good! Seriously though - the game is refreshing and feels different in a good way!

Many people seem to be scared to start playing Siege due to the high skill cap as well as a toxic community. While that might have some truth behind it, honestly the learning curve isn't that big and once you learn how to not get completely destroyed, getting wins is extremely satisfying. You see, overtime the game mechanics won't let you take the game that seriously anymore as you'll start to realize how little Siege cares about HOW you manage to win rounds. In practice this means that more often than not, you're free to use whatever bullsh#it strategies you want to secure those wins. Learning to use the power of gamesense and how to pull of stupidly good plays are perhaps the most important skills to learn in Rainbow Six Siege.

The moment you actually realize how easy it is to win rounds just by trying the most idiotic strategy you can think of is probably the best feeling there is while playing this game. Yes, we can talk all day about how Siege WANTS you to play by the rules and all that, but in reality, this game is a lot more versatile than you might think. With all the operators, maps and weapons it's almost like a sandbox game where there is only one goal to achieve - to win. This also shows in the ranking system as in the competitive mode your rank basically only depends on how many wins you're able to secure. As long as you have a positive winrate, the gates to grinding up to the top can be achieved.

So in conclusion, if you're stuck playing those regular first person shooter games, I'd suggest to give Siege a try. Once you learn the basics, you'll start getting those satisfying wins and noticing how different FPS games can be. This was the first I had tested tactical shooters and I can happily recommend this competitive, yet extremely rewarding piece of video game gold that let's you get strategic - and most importantly: creative. I have a feeling that this is going to be the next game I'll spend 1000 or so hours on, who knows? But try it out for sure!

It's a bit weird, a bit subdle, a bit crazy, a bit clever, and a lot different than I expected. It really isn't a video game. It's a story, like a book, except that you're free to walk inside it. This game is a masterpiece.

It's been a long time since I previously played any real story based games, and I have to say that this game was something exciting, beautiful and different. The graphics look fantastic and the music adds to the ambience to give a nice theme for the most amazing story I've seen in a video game for a long, long time. In my opinion the script was nothing I could've ever imagined; it isn't overgrown, it isn't unrealistic nor is the ending really satisfying either. I guess that's what makes it so different and so good . The story really builds up hype as you go through it but in the end, it gives you something unexpected, something different and something that really makes you think all the stuff that happened.

When it comes to gameplay, this one offers a refreshing touch of openness, whilst incorporating a well-though amount of direction and coherency. You feel as if things come to you naturally as you explore the map and proceed along the story. If the beautiful, large and well engineered forest of the Shoshone wants to lead you somewhere, you will get there feeling like an explorer. Encountering obstacles, areas and plot items feels more like a true adventure rather than a deliberately planned, restricted route. The map has so many sights, places and secrets to explore, that coming back to it in free roam after your first playthrough feels just as intriguing as the story and characters themselves.

If you're considering to buy Firewatch, go for it! It offers something truly unique and for many people, something different for a story based videogame. And now after playing it I'm not even shy to come to the conclusion that, Firewatch isn't a game, Firewatch is ART.

I like the graphics, the music, the characters -I mean Bros :D- and almost everything else. Some levels may be a bit too difficult but overall for a free to play game, this is a great way to waste time, especially with your friends.
