I usually don't like grand strategy games, but after checking some Youtube gameplay I had to try it, and here I am 50+hours later still replaying it and trying a new strategy to achieve my goals,

The gameplay is very challenging and addictive, the artwork is amazing, and the level of detail you can find in pretty sweet!

The only downside is that you don't have direct control over the battlefield (you just get an overview of the battle) but it's still an amazing game to pick up!

At first I didn't have much expectations in a game like this, but 54 hours later I can't stop playing it! Extremely addictive, the graphics might not look that dated but the artwork is amazing, the music the gameplay, your connection with your player and other NPCs. Even the replay value is great!

An amazing game. I'd recommend this to every gamer out there, just give it a try and you won't be able to stop.

I played this game right after "Empire Total War" and I'm glad I did. One of the best entries in the Total War series. Very addictive. Once you conquer your first city there's no going back. Even though the graphics might be concidered out-dated, it's still gives you an amazing gameplay (which in my opinion is as important as looking good)
Extremely recommend even if you own and played Rome II Total War.
