Abandoned when "done" still Earlyaccess as hell.

Honestly trash. Still missing tons of features 2.5 yrs later. Barely worth the current sale of $9

Firstly I DO recommend this game. I'm simply marking it negative to find people like me who weigh 10 ups for every 1 down. This game is fantastic. I've yet to see any action, reaction, or lack of action on my part that didn't directly get respected in the game. People I meet, don't meet, kill, team up with, simply overhear down the street etc. It all reacts so organically in real time without slapping you in the face like "You choice has caused X"

This game have 96% satisfaction. Do not let 1 in 25 be a nay say making you avoid an awesome experience. At the very least try out the the refund window. Once you're in I'm certain you'll have a blast.

Fun as hell when people actually play. Dead game :/

Needs more time in the oven. Saw the huge lack of expected features, and it's at a higher price. I'll buy it later for sure, just not right now.

Turned pay to win. Was great now they're parading around the corpse of what once was

TLDR Buy if you want to love unrealized potential

It's abandon ware. Kept going exclusively by the love of the community that plays, makes, and maintains mods. WITHOUT ACE this game would be taken off life support. Unbelievably fun when it works. Ball busting and annoying when it doesn't and heartbreaking realizing what doesn't work never will.

I simply can't recommend this game ;(

I like the game, I really do. Combat still feels like ass

A real breath of fresh air in the stale survival base building sector. Real great game, active development, lots of content, and replayability. Plus it's only $30? Phenomenal game

Update, still true Dec 7 2022. Maybe even more true

1. This game doesn't feel like halo what so ever. I wish I could articulate why I feel that way but it simply doesn't capture the mojo of Reach, 3, ODST, etc.

2. This may be fixed now but god the performance was awful. I had a 3700x and a 1080Ti when this was first launched. I was getting 40 fps, drops to 0 fps. Couldn't que with my buddies, straight to desktop crashes etc.

3. What the actual ♥♥♥♥ is the friend/social/invite system. Microsoft it's 2022, how do you fumble the bag this hard.

4. The FtP & Battle pass plague. It has a shop to purchase things with real money, that undermines the long standing legacy of earning your gear and playing well too look like a bad ass. And that's not even mentioning the tacky & campy take the skins and armors use.

5. None of this feels canon, in lore Spartans has been getting pushed closer and closer to normal humans, rather than the stoic line watchers it feels less serious in a bad way. I can't remember any of the newer Spartans for any reason besides thinking they're ass.

6. I've completely lost the plot, what the hell is even going on anymore? What's the story? Has their been major retcons? Now I'm having to watch youtubers just to understand how the galaxy was saved again this week.

7. Launched with very little content, even post beta, the actual launch ass with all AAA games was trash.

I could keep going but anyone open to being persuaded has already sided with me, or thinks differently.
