The new Assassin's Creed games from Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, and Mirage has made Rogue's reputation better and the reason being that at least this game, despite being a straight copy of black flag and playing as a Templar has the Assassin's Creed identity. I have no doubt this game will be admired more in the future as with the recent announcement for Assassin's Creed Shadows - which will flop with the push for DEI.

Require mandatory PSN account link after 3 months of the games lifespan. This isn't just Sony's doing but Arrowhead's as well... They could have said no to Sony but they didn't.

Aside from PSN, Arrowhead also divide the community base with the last patch on nerfing a ton of weapons that were decent or good to downright bad. When a weapon is bad or good it doesn't mean it is useless or OP but rather a good or bad weapon plays a role in whether it elevates the fun. If you nerf a weapon that is good or just decent you remove the fun aspect.

other than the aforementioned the crash and bugs, more crash and more bugs and un-optimized. I'd rather have the devs fix the game properly than releasing a new war bond.

I like the game but the combat dodge mechanic is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I can't see where i'm dodging to, which created a sense of confused dilemma whenever I engaged in combat especially when dealing with multiple enemies. Bare in mind with this stupid dodge mechanic in place add on with another horrendous environment that is claustrophobic to which there isn't any sense of space where your camera could see, if you can't control where you're dodging with an already tight environment that also coincides with the camera struggling to let you see WITH ALSO the setting is set in a dark environment you're bound to play this game blind 3/4 of the time.

the quest marker in this game becomes a real problem when comes to finding your next objectives this game is a ♥♥♥♥ storm full of confusion i wish i had not buy this game. also if you add a morality system make it clear 90% of the time i don't even know what i'm doing wrong to get the ending i did not desire.

Won Game of the Year 2022, not surprised but glad that it did and well deserved as well, Elden Ring Innovated on what an open world RPG genre could be, mystery, exploration, lore etc. Too many developers keep making the same game every year like Ubisoft.

Also God of War Ragnarok may be a good game but it didn't innovate on the previous installment (God of War 2018), it is pretty much reusing the same cake with an already added icing on top of it and they went further to add more. Elden Ring did this too... but not by a huge extend its pretty much dark souls 4 but what changed Elden ring is the innovative experience of an RPG with the emphasis on exploration and mystery being the core philosophy to it (exploration). Exploration is NOT the icing on the cake... it is the base of the cake and if you can reinvent the base you change the entire game, Elden Ring did this and It doesn't hold your hand like God of War Ragnarok.

Developers take note, don't make the same ♥♥♥♥... innovate even if it means failure.

Crash on the final boss fight i don't get why are the reviews positive, if this is patched i will change my review but for now it is unplayable.

Edit:

Solution

Right click the game on Steam, choose Properties, go to Betas
Enter the following code in the field for private betas: 6DDP8bz0bh6X
Press Check Code and choose 'opt into 1126' or 1121 to confirm.
Steam will now download the beta.

(Note i manage to finish the game using this solution to bypass the crash but the ending scene was bug where miles morales was half invisible in cut-scenes though i doubt this is due to the solution i used because i encounter a similar problem before getting to the final boss and using this solution (During the Wilson Fisk side mission). what a joke of a port this game is from sony, I will change this review once the crash and bugs are fixed)
