I'd recommend this game to any Flight / Space Simulator enthusiasts! There's a strong physics engine at work here with everything to sate your aerodynamic fancy! While I'm personally waiting until the release of colonies before doubling down on the game, I highly recommend it to anyone seeking the more traditional features promised. You can orbit a wide variety of different planets and moons, land on them, and come home. There's even a tech tree for unlocking different parts with scientific missions and a niche modding community tying it all together.

If you're looking for a cooperative multiplayer experience or to manage colonies, then you still have to wait unfortunately.

This game has the potential to be one of the best games I've ever played, it's unfortunately trending the other direction. Nevermind the tricksy cash shop, abysmal performance, and dysfunctional servers. Fatshark says they aren't focused on achieving a competitive FPS rate, yet they balance the game to garrote the top 5% of it's players? Approaching and upon release Fatshark have made multiple balance changes nerfing the few abilities available to players, dodging with certain weapons, and even sprinting. All of these balance changes were done to kneecap speedrunners who will continue to outperform the other 90% of players regardless of what changes you make to balance.
I'm not a speedrunner or a professional twitch streamer, though I say let them have their fun and have some outlandish weapons and abilities. Ideally every weapon and ability in the game should feel powerful and if some are better than others, the rest should be uplifted rather than shooting down the best performers.

Game too easy Fatshark? Add a higher difficulty, change the enemies, or add new challenges. World of Warcraft just learned this lesson recently and became a better game for it.

been enjoying the game, will make another review later. Stealth is nice and often rewarding, if still aggravating when you get caught.. and the gun play feels pretty dang good so far. One thing is sometimes you get one shot by enemies even when you have armor! it's like they headshot you, I get the reason could be to make it more realistic but I was playing on Normal difficulty and wasn't expecting insta kills out of chance like that. Very fun game so far, looking forward to updates.

I got the most recent expansion for free from a friend, but I'm enjoying the Season of the Splicer and I feel the game is getting more interesting and the story is finally developing after so many years where it didn't feel like much was happening. If you want to get back into Destiny 2, I recommend this season if you got the money for it.

Heavily recommend this game as it allows you nearly endless customization and the ability to create a lot of content yourself. It is obviously a labor of love, you can tell just looking at it and how many years they've put into this game. The effects are amazing, the already existing armies are very well done and very diverse, plus the game is very challenging at many points and really encourages you to think hard and long to solve a problem. Please do buy this game from them if you enjoy putting together armies and strategies.

One of the best games I've ever played. The grind isn't that difficult and you progress at a very steady speed, hunger management can be skipped for a while until you need the extra health.. Most of the survival game mechanics that suck in other games like Rust, just aren't here. I recommend buying a server for you and your friends and just having fun.

A majority of my game time was on a hard copy, but I absolutely recommend this game. The multiple campaigns are very interactive and have interesting scenarios, Skirmishes could be a bit more compelling to play, never tried multiplayer either, though I managed at least a thousand hours with just single player activities. Defense + base building could be better but I feel it's always been lacking in the AOE franchise... It feels great to pit giant armies against each other in this game though.

Things I think are better in this game than say, AOE 2:

1) more diverse game mechanics from civilization to civilization.
2) farms aren't a chore to maintain, providing a steady flow of food for late game battles.
3) in most situations you'll have access to plantations to create a steady flow of gold, AOE2 struggled with this and resulted in mandatory "trash fights" late game.
4) Units in sets of 5 (or more for Russians), this speeds up the game and allows for those epic scale battles to happen more often.
5) No stone! This could be controversial, but managing stone as a resource was a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game mechanic. Stone was ONLY used to limit your defensive capabilities, and it was unhealthy for AOE. Though sadly AOE 3 does limit towers and you can only get forts by home city shipments.

Bad things(?):

1) limited towers / blockhouses (for Russians). I don't like being forced into an offensive play style really.
2)Walls don't stack very well, you can have layers but they have to be spaced out, another defense limitation.
3) very small area to expand your base, buildings take up too much space honestly.
4) AI isn't the most interesting to play against.

One of the best FPS games I have ever played... I have been playing it ever since it had a free demo.
The costumization for weapons and tools is endless and super fun, I just wish all my friends had this game.

The game is fun even though it is still in early development... I had some fun making a map except the framerate went to 14 when I test played it. I wish that steam workshop was available so I could publish my map, but that can wait because the game is still VERY enjoyable without it. But the build priority list is really cluttered and I wish there were tabs seperating finished from unfinished buildings. Overall the gamemode Peacefull mostly lives up to it's name except the occaisionall horde of lvl 10 fire elementals that kill half your people and defenses. I give this game a 87/100 because I already mentioned the problems that the game has and there arent many.
