Seriously, this is one of the best Street Fighter games.
IMHO, it's even much better than SF 4.
Never had so much fun playing Street Fighter, maybe since Third Strike?
The game-play is perfect for me, I have so much fun with the "new" mechanic here.
The Drive Gauge, Drive Parry and Drive Impact. The balance feels right for me.

Also, the new Modern control brings a new life (with all new players) to this franchise.
Non-veteran gamers can jump right into the game with combos, Super-arts easy access.
They can even participate in the online match without being bullied by veteran gamers.
For now the balance between Modern vs Classic control, IMO is fair enough.

The graphics, for me it's the best 3D Street Fighter ever.
The models are good, but the animations are special! Top-notch.
From the muscle deformation to subtle facial expressions, love them.
The cloth animation are good too, not perfect but almost there.

All of them with Plus of World Tour mode, a single player mode where your avatar can fight and roam world like "Yakuza" games.

To make this game "overwhelmingly negative" reviewed is not that fair...
It's not really a bad game... (and also it's free).
Well... where should I begin?
First, It's a bold move from Konami. Unlike EA / 2K which don't want some drastic changes to their sports game. Konami choose to "drastically" change PES.
To make it simple, eFootball is not PES / Winning Eleven. It's just another game. Which is... "good" for variety.
PES always been "the same" for almost ten years or more? And this game give "a fresh new football game" vibes.
For me (and maybe lot of other veteran gamers) , it's more like a remake/modern take of the old International Superstar Soccer from Konami Osaka (anyone play this game?) It's PES sibling game from Konami. It has more "arcade"-ish feeling. And the Dynamic camera which zoom in on key area is also it's trademark (Plus their ultra dramatic animation for tackle / block which also appears on this game).
It's not a perfect game for sure. So many flaws in this game. From the almost none game modes. Awful menu design, weird fps, glitches, etc.
For the gameplay, like I said before, it reminds me of the ISS, which is pretty solid and I personally like. Of course it's not PES. And PES fans will hate it for sure. The slow passing pace, fast through ball. Better heading control. Some fresh animations.
IT still need a lot of polish of course.
The only Konami mistake is... they forced it to replace PES. Why don't they give us to choose? Why don't they put eFootball as PES mobile game version? It suits better. And they can put some good aspects from this game to make PES console/PC version better?

Finally a great "metroidvania" game comparable to SOTN! Yes I'm not joking, It's really that good.
I even surprised myself. The game is super fun, great graphics (sprite/animation,effects).
It's been a while since I finished a game completely (100%)!
Two thumbs up for the developer!

And some note for the developer:
-Maybe you can improve the menu screen appearance, it's way too simple, haha...
-A game "manual" or maybe a better "hints" can help new player a little bit. I need an hour to figure out how to put the coke can into the bin >_<
-A special greeting to the mastermind who decide to put the last bin on the different room..........you b%$#@*&!!!!! lol
-Don't forget about your promise to release the "extra stage" ^_^

Imported the Japanese PS4 Version.
Bought the English PS4 Version.
And now... bought it again on Steam.

The game has improved so much since the 2013 reboot.
Better graphics (so far, it has the best in-game/ real time render cutscenes graphics. IMHO).
Better animation. Better control
And lots of contents, so many tombs, so many treasures to find, and animals to hunt.
It has a little bit metroidvania feels like its predecessor, where some area can be accessed only when you have certain tools which is nice.
The only thing I missed is the original classic Lara costume ^-^ (please add it as DLC, square enix.)
And lastly, so far... it's a good port for PC version.

Pro:
- The best 3D fighting game with 2D cell-shading style graphics so far. (Can't believe it's using Unreal Engine!)
- It's a Guilty Gear game. What else do you expect? Fast paced and sometime chaotic 2D fighting game.
- Great control like usual.
- Awesome soundtrack, really... from the main menu to the ending (Lily)...just awesome.
- Good port for the PC, 60fps, no crazy glitch so far.
- Story mode, yeah not everyone like it, but I do really like it a lot. Just like watching an anime.
- COOL instant kill animation!
Cons:
- Not so many playable characters.
- Yup, that's all, it's really that good. ^_^
If you love fast paced/chaotic 2D fighting with crazy weird story and great character design plus awesome soundtrack, this is a game for you. Totally recommended.

Compared to the console versions, the PC version gives you the ultimate BATMAN experience.
You can actually feel how the scarecrow's poison gas entering your brain, and breaking your mind!
Anger, anxiety, fear...everything! Scarecrow really breaks the fourth wall on this version!
The anger on how the FPS drops withour any clues, how the random glitches crashed your game suddenly... and even failed to save your game! The fear when even WB/Rocksteady seems confused and can't fix the game they made, forever...
and the anxiety that you can't refund the game!

Now only the bravest one who dare to buy this game and... be the BATMAN!
