Only read this reveiew if you plan on trying Hardmode, as I have only played the game in Hardmode.

The game is excruciatingly tough, as it will kill you repeatedly in different ways. The levels never repeat themselves, it's always something new when you start a new game which provides a fresh new experience everytime you hit "Replay" (play again). This means you can never find the same level twice as the contents of each one are radomized, except for the boss levels. This game can satisfy those who love to find secrets of the game as there are plenty, but if you're just looking for a challenge, this game can provide that too (especially in hard more).

I don't normally play point and click adventure games but if I'm recommending this game, then that means something. I enjoy it.

This game can satisfy numerous different kinds of gamers.

Like grinding by killing some extra enemies? There are always enemies nearby that you can kill. Don't want to? You can ignore them and go straight to your mission.

Love optional side missions? This game has tons of them but you don't have to do them so you can completely ignore them if you're just interested in the story missions.

Weapons can go from sniping to bazooka-ing, and more.

Conclusion.
This game clearly has much put into it. There is so much you can do even without the sidequests. The walking can be a bit tideous but the destinations are never too far. Campaign has co-op so if you ever want a friend with you as you play the story, you can. I give it a thumbs up! :)

If you get a headache, change the resolution and the headache will be less intense! Eventually the headaches stop. :)

The game itself is hard, diverse of weapons, enemies, and ways to wreck enemies while you're trying to stay alive!
For decent first person shooter players, this is hard. Especially on the highest level, but for serious players (See what I did there?), this game is challenging but fun on it's highest level.

Buy it on sale in case you might not get in to it! Tho try to see past its flaws and appreciate what this game has to offer!

When I play a game and end up in a team with new-ish players, I get frustrated.

When I play a game and end up in a team with professional players, the game is too easy.

But hey, this is just me. Recommended, ESPCIALLY fun with friends. Oh and if you'll trade, good luck.. and trade fair!

It's overwhelmingly positive for a reason. Get it on sale if you want to be on the safe side, but honestly, it's worth the full price. To maximize fun, play with friends.

One of the best Indie games I've every played.

1. Co-op is really fun. Connections between gamers could use some improvement though. Luckily the issue, which is the only issue, is that it occasionally does the "waiting for players" bit. Thankfully, this does not heavily interfere gameplay. Just make sure you have a stable connection to your internet. You don't need strong internet, but it helps.
2. Even tho your combos and punches can be repetitive, every level requires a different strategy of combat.
3. Teamwork is actually necessary , sometimes.
4. SO MANY CHARACTERS TO UNLOCK!

UPDATE (JUST LIKE THE GAME TEEHEE): THERE'S AN UPDATE WOOHOO which makes the negative updates that complain about the game only showing controller buttons in their instructions, NULL AND VOID. Also the update does not erase any of your old data which is awesome. Plus, a new minigame! I hoped for the old mini game to stay but I'm sure they have their reasons. The connection problem slightly improved!

IN CONCLUSION: I highly recommend this game!

Seriously, this game is one of a kind. There is honestly too much to say.

In a nut shell, this is an old fashioned game but with some serious improvements. All of the little things in this game that make it awesome are either overlooked or taken for granted. This game has so many secrets and hidden rooms of weapons it frustrates me!

I have lost my train of thought. It's worth your money.
