Absolutely fantastic JRPG with an unbelievable amount of content, character depth, and great sprite art. A must play for long time JRPG fans.

Many people will complain that the game is too short, but the game is very well made and is worth the time. As a big fan of Metroidvania-esque games this was a good experience. The gameplay and movement is fluid and the graze system rewards skillful and aggressive play, which I enjoyed a lot. I look forward to the planned extra stage.

Rebirth is a fantastic game that doesn't even feel like a remake of the original Isaac. The art-style and music seem to fit together perfectly and the new item synergies are, at times, hilarious and silly.
Definitely my favorite game of last year. 9.2/10
