lost interest after beating the N++ tab. the levels are only hard if you're getting the gold (which is incredibly boring on some levels), and it takes a long time for any level to actually be hard regardless of getting the gold. the color palettes are really pretty, but thats about the only sign of progression i feel im getting

This game feels and sounds like a high school cafeteria

I heard some people saying this game looks like the graphics were made bad on purpose, but I disagree 100%. I can clearly see the hard work put into making this game work visually and mechanically. It's fast paced, high FOV, simple and also complex. The game is tough as nails at first, then easy, then hard again. once you get $$$ you can buy some extremely fun game mechanics like the grappling hook and ice skating movement. Easily the most fun part about the game is the different ways you can use your upgrades to kill targets as fast as possible and using map knowledge and movement skills to get good times (maps are full of secrets which I love!). There are different difficulties indicated by the border which make the game harder, and Hope Eradicated adds even more replayability to the game, adding more to every level. Another thing I like is the sound design. Jumping never gets too annoying to hear, and the guns lower in pitch the less ammo you have. One thing I'd like to have sounds are the grappling hook (similar to Umihara Kawase), and it would be cool if the the world flipper upgrade had a sound. As for the music, it fits perfectly with the games atmosphere, nothing too off. Depression Nap and Chunkopops are my favorite songs :) To top it off theres fishing and stocks so now you have to buy it >:)

As a diehard fan of Hylics, this is absolutely everything I expected and wanted to come out of Hylics 2. Mason did a really great job of expanding the atmosphere of Hylics. The style of this game is more developed than the previous one, and I strongly prefer you play Hylics before playing this one to get a feel of the world. All the characters have more life from the previous game, but not too much to make you feel 100% comfortable, which I love. The combat is extremely well executed. It is difficult at some parts, but not impossible, and once you figure out enemy patterns it becomes easy. The platforming sections were really interesting. Some parts are a bit blind but it overall didn't ruin my experience. The music has the same groove as Hylics 1 and its catchy. As for the story, it's straight forward just like the first game, and it just fits perfectly. Nothing too complex, and things can be up for interpretation. This game is a 10/10, I applaud Mason's talent in claymation.
