Coming back to this game you can feel the level of care that went into making it, classic FromSoft formula as always, with many changes that they took their time to make sure make sense in the whole game before implementing them, Open World done right for one of the first times in my entire life.

I can write on and on about the perfection of FromSoft games in delivering the most cohesive game experiences you could possibly find out there, from the perfect marriage of the lore to the mechanics and your actual game experience. Unlike some other games where there's a disconnect between the story and the real game-play.

The experience also of doing side quests alongside your main objective is quite enjoyable. You're barely affected by missing out on this content whatsoever, but it makes for solid replayability. All fork choices and their consequences on the world have been well-thought out and there has never been any glitch I could find where I could reach some kind of dead-end in a quest that hasn't been accounted for.

100% recommended, obviously not for everyone if you're not into the original FromSoft games, but It is a lot more beginner friendly IMO.

Ahh, dear little Robocraft. Where have you gone? Are you hiding from me? Come out, come out, don't be afraid. You were once great in 2015, what could have possibly gone wrong? How greed has ruined you, Robocraft. My dear, little beloved game.

ALRIGHT so hear me out, this is probably one of those games you might've come across by accident, since Steam™ most likely won't feature it in the new tab like many other hidden gems that get glossed over but I urge you to try it.

If you're looking for something nice to chill and unwind to, this game is for you, however If you're looking for an insane challenge to your typing prowess, then this game is STILL for you! It does both, and quite well!

We're all a little familiar with typing games, but usually they're not made as work of passion but rather as just some program to help you type faster. I've never come across something like this a proper video-game for fellow typing enthusiasts.

From the subtle humor of the game, to the accessibility options for dyslexic people, You can truly feel that the developer had the end players in mind while making this game, it was a labor of love.

It crosses the rogue-lite genre with typing in such a simple way that leaves you saying "how did i not think of this?"

Did i mention it has achievements?

I was able to write this review in -6 seconds thanks to the hour of Dungeons & Keyboards™ I played before. THIS COULD BE YOU TOO!

Short summary:
Yet another terrible game from Ubisoft like All Assassin's creed games that come after Black Flag, Beautiful Ancient Egypt Open world, this game is terrible at being a game and much better at just being an interactive digital museum of ancient Egypt under roman rule.

Longer explanation:
Soulless game, Ubisoft made a beautiful recreation of ancient Egypt, slapped typical stale Assassin's creed game-play on it, and now asks you buy it for $60, that's way too much of a price for yet another AC grindfest that sucks the fun out of everything.

Story
The story started interesting and half way through didn't make any sense, and I understand they wanted to end it by founding the "hidden order" or whatever it's called in ♥♥♥♥ creed's lore, but it made 0 sense, you get from point A to point B in the story with no meaningful explanation, also filled with typical tropes for women empowerment that add nothing to the game or the story. I like Aya as a character but i hate how linear her character has to be to feed into that narrative.

Verdict
Anyways, don't buy unless you want to enjoy walking around a beautiful open world of ancient Egypt, otherwise you'll sink 50 hours into finishing the main story and find out that, while it's fun for a little bit, you've ended up playing yet another Ubisoft ♥♥♥♥ game.

Early Access Review
Just finished the early access content, took about 20 hours.

Really amazing upgrade from Divinity Original Sin 2, more actions, feels like playing D&D 5e for sure! would recommend if you can bear the incredibly short content (20 hours) otherwise wait for full release!

If you enjoyed mount and blade Warband like i did, you'll enjoy this game, I've played 3 hours so far and i'm addicted. Trying to trade my way up to a fortune and start making a kingdom for myself, i had a bunch of things i disliked in Warband that are fixed in this game.

- Character creation part actually makes sense now, as opposed to the old game where you didn't really know what each choice did in a way that's easier to visualize and understand.

- Talking to NPCs is now actually useful as opposed to MB Warband There's more interesting people, The person overview window is so nice it gives depth to the characters you're talking to.

- Combat is still kickass.

- UI is a whole lot better than Warband.

Overall i think this game is a whole lot more newbie friendly as well as there's a much better tutorial now on the combat in this one.

I got this game so I could play it with my girlfriend so the co-op element was crucial to me, so if that aspect is as important to you this review will help you see things for what they are. if not feel free to ignore all of this.

You should consider this before you buy it hoping to play Co-op with a friend.

Let me show you the problem, in summary:
  1. Main point of this game is to finish quests. (kill monsters but you're usually introduced to new monsters IN QUESTS)
  2. You cannot progress together with a friend, if you're have the same quest upcoming, Forget playing co-op and progressing with them at the same time. You just can't, one of you has to go through it alone while the other waits, so they can join you. but even that is also annoying.

You cannot progress together, the only way to play co-op in quests is:
-one of you finishes the quest and then waits for you to go into the quest.
-listen to deafening boring story crap (Maybe it's exciting but i fail to see how great the story is from being too busy trying to play co-op)
-THEN when they hit the monster stage they fire an SOS, then they can come in.

You can only co-op in stuff that doesn't matter and you can never play alongside your friends and progress at the same time, won't happen, and there's not much else to do in this game. So pick one, Progression, or Co-op. which i think is utterly counter-intuitive and stupid for a game with the tag Co-op on it.

So if you expect to pick this game up with a friend and progress together, forget it. save your money and your time.
You both have to do the quests alone, it should remove it's Co-Op tag because it's nothing but a facade, it's misleading.

So that's my main issue with the game, other than that, good graphics, it's got some nice action/kind of skill based gameplay but it's grindy as hell. I've seen better combat systems in other games. it's not too fancy, like chivalry or anything like that but it's quite above-average combat when it comes to the market. i'll give it that. some monster interactions feel broken and inconsistent, Anjananth (one of the monsters in it) can hit you with his back while dashing???? while all the other monsters can't. Maybe that's just me. take my words with a grain of salt.

AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ABOUT THAT HANDLER, I SWEAR TO GOD SHE'S THE MOST ANNOYING CHARACTER I'VE EVER SEEN.

TL:DR; Great graphics, above-average combat (better than most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games, to most this would be great combat, but there's better out there).

If i had to describe it in one line:
This is a theme-park game with added above-average action combat system, good graphics, mind-numbingly over-sized story, and barely any good co-op element to it.

Yeah, that's it. See ya.
