Honestly this is probably the best strategy/survival games I've played. It is pretty easy to just pick up and play because its tutorial is very easy to follow and not overwhelming. Even though I only have 12 hours (for now) I played this somewhere else and it's just so good. I don't know how, but even if you do the same thing on every play through, things still just end up different each time. The DLC is definitely worth it because it adds new, more challenging scenarios. 10/10 game. Cant wait for the 2nd one

I haven't actually unlocked a ton of stuff yet (24%), but I cannot recommend this game enough to fans of the roguelike genre. I mainly compare it to Gungeon because its the only other game similar to Isaac that I can think of. I would say this is easier, but more punishing than Gungeon. On one hand, the enemies aren't as tough and at a certain point you can one shot some bosses, but you can screw yourself over if you take the wrong item or make the wrong choice. In Gungeon, the enemies are pretty tough and bosses can take a lot of damage, but pretty much every item and gun are a good choice, so its a lot more forgiving.

I personally recommend to get the Afterbirth DLC with the main game and then wait to see if you like the game. The Afterbirth+ DLC is good to get if you enjoy it. Definitely wait until you get pretty good at the game before getting Repentance. Overall I think all of the DLC are worth it, you just need to know when to get them. I think if I started with all of the DLC, I wouldn't like it as much as I do.

It was boring and had bad controls.

I think Im allowed to leave a review now, seeing as I have finally beaten the first (final) boss after over 130 hours. Its probably one of, if not the best roguelike I have ever played. I keep looking for another one to play, but they just cant match Gungeon's greatness. Everything is perfect: the assortment of guns, the music, the references, the gameplay, the pace etc. It is 100% worth the price, but if you want to wait for a sale, I get you. Even though Devolver is no longer updating it, I think they have crafted one the most perfect roguelikes ever

10/10 would pour my life into again.

Old Review (I hate this game yet I cant stop playing. It is the most rage inducing multiplayer game I've ever played.

That being said, 10/10 more people need to play)

Is this a good game?
You can cut off someone's head, throw it, posses someone to walk twoards an edge, throw a severed head and knock them off, making them fell to their deaths.
You tell me.








10/10 would go on a killing spree again

This game is creative and the music is wonderful. I totaly recomend it
