this game was worth the price, lives up to its name quite well when you wanna just do something for 5-30 minutes at a time or so, it added content quite often that didn't feel samey or bloated and it doesn't stutter much until quite a ways past beating the first round of gameplay. all in all solid 7.5/10 not super outstanding in anyway, but it does what it needs to effectively and is a good bit of fun once in a while.

I hope you continue this story as it holds much potential with how the ending let things off.

this is great, and I'm glad they now have it officially on steam, however there are some issues that the non steam version didn't have that the steam version does and subsequently, need to be fixed.

first, it's only 32 bit at the moment of writing this, so it's extremely limited in memory. 4gb to be exact, that limits heavily how many mods can be used at once, even on a 32gb ram computer like mine as there is no way to allocate more ram.

the second is, and I could be wrong, but I think there are less mods on the browser than on the non steam version? again could be wrong, but if I'm not I wonder why there are, at least seemingly, less than before.

and finally, while not an issue to me, and I know they are working on it, as stated in the community post, the version is behind from 1.4, again I don't mind as updating it completely would make it to where many mods would need to update to even function on the new version, so I think they could work on a secondary launch version/option for 1.4 so that we aren't traped with little to no mods.

Cube world is by no means perfect or easy, if you don't know what you are doing you are going to die, a lot. If you get the basics down you will still die due to either bad decisions or even possible lag as this game can be rather CPU intensive at times.
I hope this game continues to be updated as it is a blast to play and explore, but it feels like it is missing something, like more classes, weapon and item variants, abilities and much more, but for what it is now, it is a great way to spend your time if you have a few hours and a pretty good PC.

and yes there are many reviews that talk about the alpha, and while I personally never got a copy of that I do know how they feel, this version is quite different from the direction it was heading back in alpha, it had levels and skill trees and many more things that made the world more personal each time you played it, sadly however, that's in the past, and it's up to the devs whether or not we get to see those interesting features in the future or not, I really hope we do as those looked amazing, but again it's not up to me or anyone else.

so all in all I give Cube World, as it is now, a 7.6/ 10, because it's fun but has both issues and many things people were looking forward too missing.

I love this game and hope they have a sequel that follows your choices from the first one base on ending not on every choice of course otherwise it could be as big as a AA game. the ending I got first play through was with Zuri and I would love to see what could happen next (and yes I am aware they made a school trope version with new characters but I mean a true sequel) seeing what could happen after the endings. yes it's allot of work and would probably cost money which (depending on the price) I would gladly pay. Is the game without flaws, hell no but I ask you what game isn't.

I bought this because I lost the product code for my disc coppies of 1 and 2 but I am super glad I did now I can relive my childhood and moddify the game as well, I love that they released both Age of Mythology 1 & 2 together in one amazing package. I highly reccommend this product.

it's the most fun I have had since I tried the first game and I loved that as well.

I say 10/10 would recomend again.
