A phenomenal recreation of the original Half-Life. Not just upgrading graphics, but giving more life and interactivity to npc's and environments. The overhaul to the Xen chapters while keeping to the original gameplay style was brilliantly executed.

My only minor gripe is the difficulty of the game. Perhaps its just because I've played this game multiple times, health and ammo packs are so plentiful, I'm confident that throughout my most recent playthrough I was above 75% health and had full ammo on all weapons nearly the entire game. Especially in the Xen chapters. The enemies certainly deal less damage and are less bullet spongy compared to the original.

But even so, this is an extraordinarily fun game, even to just ♥♥♥♥ around with the friendly npc's. Highly recommend.
