The only "ok" DLC in Fallout 4.
Brings a new companion, a sub-par story, several new enemies many of which are quite enganging and challenging, and some more.
While I would rank it lower than any Fallout New Vegas DLC I would say it's atleast an expansion which is far more than I could give Nuka World.

Priced at 24.99 I would say wait for a discount or simply purchase another game. Because it feels more of a 19.99 or lower for the content it gives.

Nothing to write home about.
While not entirely bad, it's not really good either.

It's just going from location to location killing mobs of reskinned enemies you would've already faced. Ghouls, Mirelurks, Deathclaws, Machines, hell you name it. The only real new mobs are the Bloodworms and Ants and you'll only face them like 3% of the time. There's no real story here other than "Clear these spots and set up a flag so we can send you on an infinite amount of boring quests.", it's worse than Automatron in the story department and that's saying something.

The raider gangs arn't really interactive or even entertaining to be around, they're just another "faction" that'll send you on an infinite amount of similar quests you would've already done before. You're about as incharge of them as you are incharge of the Minute Men. Despite their colorful shells they're just as empty as anything else that ends you fetch/kill quests.

Porter Gage as a companion is also pretty dull, while being a big feature in this dlc he's really not worth it.
While it is fun to be the "bad guy" for a change, the execution of becoming the boss of three raider gangs ends up feeling as you're more of their errand boy instead of this big bad wasteland warlord. Don't go into this thinking you're going to be Immortan Joe with a legion of lackeys and servants who serve your every whim as you crusade the wastelands.

No real impact is felt on existing companions aside from Gaige and Preston. Hell I don't know anyone who hasn't already built a wall around Preston, let alone anyone who's willing to drag him around. New dialogue and interactions with him would be last on my personal list, right next to a romanceable Marcy Long. Instead of expanding or proviving more interactions with existing character's they simply added more to the most annoying one.

While not an outright awful DLC I suggest you buy it when it hits discount , and I only got it due to mod compatibility.
That 19.99 is better spent in something that someone put their heart into, go get Stardew Valley or hell save it for upcoming titles.

Early Access Review
With the promised upcoming content, and the level of content this Early release alone already has I can safely say that this is an rpg worth supporting.

Possibly the weakest of Fallout Titles released since tactics.
Just get New Vegeas and mod it if you're not pleased with the graphics.
Not a bad shooter games, but amoung the worst Fall Out games.
