Bloodborne + Sekiro = very fun and incredibly beautiful.
Everything was executed wonderfully. Combat just feels so good, and the story was enjoyable without being too convoluted.

A definite must-have for fans of the Souls games. One of my favorite games of the genre for sure.

This game was fun, but not worth $40.

Tunes are sweet and the world is vivid and colorful, but the gameplay stagnates quickly and feels repetitive.
About all there is to do is keep combos going, and this isn't very difficult. Manuals are incredibly easy to do and basically prevent any combo drops. Gonna land? Hold RT and you're safe. Manual timer running out? Press LT and X or B when you have a little meter to reset it. I respect the accessibility, but I wish there was more difficulty.

Story was alright but had some questionable moments towards the last half.

My biggest complaint is trying to switch characters / customize. Why can't I change to the main characters in the hideout? I have to go to one of the other areas and find a breakdance square. But not only that; I also can't have any "heat" or I can't change at all. And if I want to customize my character, I have to go to a restroom, but can only use them once before they close and I have to reenter the area.

I 100% the game in under 16 hours; all collectibles, characters and achievements. Not too difficult, but can be annoying when you need skates when you've got a bike, or vice versa.

I enjoyed my time all in all, but I can't help being a little disappointed.

An absolute treat of a game. I'm sad that I hadn't played it sooner.
If you're a fan of pinball and/or adventure platformers, this is a definite must-play. The immense passion that went into this game is clearly expressed in it's beautiful, charming world and fun gameplay. Looking forward to future games from the devs.

Moonscars is a solid 2d souls-like game that I very much enjoyed playing. However, it does have some interesting design choices that may / may not dissuade you from playing it all the way through.

Pros:
- Amazing graphics and visuals. The scenery is beautiful and the animations are pristine. Moonscars was nothing but addictive eye candy.
- Soundtrack is pretty good with some nice, eerie atmospheric tracks as well as cooler and heavier boss themes.
- Combat was fluid and fun to master, with plenty of different spells / witcheries to experiment with.
- Story was a bit confusing to piece together, but it was an enjoyable one nonetheless.

Cons:
- Parrying. The telegraphs for enemies parriable attacks in not as consistent, and sometimes you will parry and just miss the auto follow up attack because of weird spacing.
- Secondary weapons are a very fun part of the game, but it feels like you're getting punished if you find one you like. When you switch to a different weapon, you get a bonus to health or ichor. But if you choose to stay with the weapon you've been using, you get nothing, and if you already had a health or ichor bonus and stick with the same weapon it gets removed.
- Spell costs get very high when you upgrade them, which on paper sounds fine, but when you actually use them you see that you only get to use 1-2 charges at most sometimes. This wouldn't be so bad if the meter wasn't also tied to healing.
- Healing is tied to your special meter, but when you use your special meter, it leaves behind this Blue Ichor in its place which can also be used for healing. Unfortunately, healing drains your normal special meter first and THEN it starts to use the Blue Ichor. This makes it a bit frustrating to use these mechanics together. I believe this would be a much better system if it this was reversed.

Neutral:
- Short-ish game. While I enjoyed 100%ing this game, it only took me a little under 14 hours to do so, which was over the course of 2 playthroughs.
- The Earrings were a bit annoying to find because they are tied to a mechanic known as Moonhunger. Moonhunger occurs when you reach high spite levels from killing enemies, and then dying when the moon icon on the top-left has red glow to it. You can only see these earrings when in Moonhunger, which isn't too bad, but the major problem with this is that Moonhunger is automatically cured when you kill a boss. I found myself having to just kill myself after killing a boss just so I was able to get as many earrings as possible. (This was mainly a personal pet peeve because I went for 100%, but if you're not going for a completionist playthrough then disregard this point).

Moonscars was a very fun game. Even with all the negative criticisms I had, it didn't hinder my overall enjoyment, and I would definitely recommend it if you aren't bothered by the slight grievances I had. 8/10.

I love this game, but don't buy unless you're playing with friends. Netcode is nonexistent, and the offline mode is a joke.

If you don't have a good pc, FrameSoft will be displeased.

Edit: I upgraded my dumpster PC into a god build just for this game. Still get many technical issues, such as:

-frame drops (not as common now but happens on certain bosses)
-randomly crashes after an hour
-50% of invasions and summons fail to connect
-randomly crashes after loading too many zones
etc.
