I do recommend RoboCop: Rogue City. Take my words with a grain of salt, though. The game consists of levels you get to explore, that are also recycled throughout the campaign. Biggest example here being Downtown Detroit. I imagined the game to be open world, but it's basically just diet open world. Biggest highlight has to be the story, combat and investigation. The shooting is extremely good and when you aim it has the lock-on effect just like in the films. There have been moments where the lock-on didn't happen and I wasn't sure if it was a bug or an intended feature through damage taken. The ingame models for everyone except for RoboCop look pretty bland and are recycled for any non-story related characters. Performance can be an issue with some bugs/glitches that can and probably will impede progression. There are ingame fixes for them, but usually result in you having to reload a chapter in the story costing time and progress. Until then we can only hope the devs get on it and don't make this game into an abandonware. Investigation is pretty fun, where you scan certain objects to get very interesting details about chemicals and some cool effects to help solve a case. It can be very annoying sometimes as there are certain moments where you have to look for where you can scan and the only way to find the scan locations is to have the mouse hover over the spot exactly. Over some time of playing, you'll get experience points to put into RoboCop. They give bonuses to certain aspects plus, if you put enough into one column you'll unlock an ability/passive which can be very fun to mess around with. If you are a big fan of RoboCop, I'm sure you'll still enjoy it quite alot despite all of the flaws present in the game. If you aren't a fanatic, just wait for the game to go on discount, Because: "I'll buy that for a dollar!"

7/10 I will have it a 9 or 10/10 depending on if the game gets some patches it deserves.

Game is brutally difficult at first, you're gonna take a lot of breaks, but every time you come back it's always slightly easier.

I cannot describe how much in love I am with this game, such a fever dream experiencing what you thought was old and forgotten now this modern remake comes in and kicks your ass.
