This is gonna take a while to read but if you really want to know what this game really is about its worth the read! If you just want a short info if this game is worth a buy, kindly piss off. honestly, this game has been the best time ive ever spent in a game. Its also the most hours ive played a single game and will probably stay that way for the rest of my life.But throughout the years this game has become but a shell of what it used to be and stand for. This game was once a fun survival shooter that had great basebuilding, pvp and raid mechanics. The gun mechanics now feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unity stock asset cod ripoff. Either you have 24hrs a day free to play this game or you will get offlined The only other option if you dont have tons of time, teammates, a LOT of them also the biggest problem, playing solo gets discouraged more and more with every update, how? MLRS, how do you get them? oilrig, heli, bradley all things that a solo wont be able to take by himself on a server that has other groups on it. and then the usage of MLRS.... THEY ARE THE MOST BROKEN ITEM IN THE GAME.oh you have a base but dont have the time and manpower to metal your entire base, well say goodbye to your base because a single barage will break a woodencompound around your base, the entire top floor is a goner and if you have a stone base half of it, no matter the size will be gone. hmm... OH you want to DEFEND AGAINST THEM? Well have fun getting 1500 Scrap for the 3 samsites, getting the power for them set up and getting enough pipes to make a useful amout of ammo for them. The alternative, get OFFLINED as soon as you go to sleep.if you ever get onlined, most times the raidbase will be both taller and bigger than your own base. and have fun being outnumbered tenfold. mhh just go on a server that has limited teamsize? sure, just choose between solo/duo/trio servers that die after 3 days if they even manage over 100 pop on wipeday or mhh even better go on modded servers, where the prim stage is non existent and youll get offlined bc while its still expensive to build your base, getting raiding mats has gotten much easier. then theres a final Option... OFFICIAL SERVERS just a small info, NEVER PLAY FACEPUNCH SERVERS, every other player actually cheats on there and proves day in and day out how atrociously ♥♥♥♥ the anticheat actually is in this game.so many more things that i could go on about, like the introduction of excavator that made it even easier for big groups to get stuff. then theres minis and scrappys, while minis might still have a reason to exist, 2 people should be allowed to get across the map decently fast, but then theres scrappys.... oh so you have 20 ppl with loot on them that you dont want to risk losing by having to run home, enticing more pvp and more interaction between players? nah just cramp em all in a helicopter, basically untouchable if the pilot isnt as smart as a potato.the new automation additions made it even worse, now the big groups dont even need to craft their ♥♥♥♥ anymore its being done for them. All in all, this game might be fun for you, if you have an entire school class worth of teammates that you know. otherwise, if you want to buy this game just to check out wether its good or not, if you dont want to spend thousands of hours in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, dont bother also quick sidenote, some of the metrics in the game make no sense, you cant place building blocks even while having perfect sight of where you want to place it, the system of upkeep is broken as ♥♥♥♥ as well, you can build close enough to railways to prettymuch have shotgun traps in range of the trains, trying to shoot people while you are in a minicopter? well toss a coin wether you will actually deal damage or just get ♥♥♥♥ on while getting 10 invalids, also whenever you get into fights, the game loves to just freeze on you every now and then, followed by instant death, so yes DESYNC IS STILL A MASSIVE THING, eventho the devs said they have fixed it with one of the recent updates, instead of showing invalids it just says "you died first" so the have done effectively nothing other than changing the name of invalids and called it a fix. Oh and youve finally got your hands on a gun? great now you only need to farm scrap to research the gun, make a fitting workbench, learn the ammo type for the gun, and then spend 10 minutes of standing still and crafting a gearset, ammo meds and a gun. update 7.7.23: its still ♥♥♥♥, only getting worse. Update 05.03.2024: what can is say, not much has changed for the better after they increased the storage for boxes, they thought it would be a great idea to LITERALLY DOUBLE YOUR INVENTORY SPACE with a simple backpack. because no, a zerg vacuuming up every single item wasnt enough of an issue beforehand. and Oh you might wonder how you can get said backpack? ONLY IN THE BEST CRATES IN THE GAME. so all the places where your solo ass will never get to begin with. but hey, instead of taking their precious time to fix some of the cheater related issues or improve the amount of gamebreaking abusable bugs in the game, they make metal detectors. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ USELESS METAL DETECTORS. not only are they boring as ♥♥♥♥ to use, but adding random ass ♥♥♥♥ like that just shows how disconnected the devs are from the actual problems that players are experiencing in the game. so in conclusion its gotten worse. See you in another 5 months or so till they've managed to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game even harder.
