11 hours in and loving it so far, been waiting a long time for it and I'm not disappointed with anything. The game looks great, runs great and has a lot of great content that looks like the Developers learned a lot about what mods meant a great deal to the community and have integrated some those ideas into Fallout 4.

Anyway, initial impressions, if you love Fallout and have a good PC build, buy it, I doubt you'll regret it.

Games, we love them, we hate them through good times and bad don't we.

Jumping down off the top of a tower using heavy shield to absorb the impact as you hit the ground, missiles and bullets have been chasing you all the way, you barely have time to look up and make a break for the nearest buildling* and you burst through the doorway making it into cover with time to recharge and catch your breath, turn the corner, guy there, headshot him, then the next one and out the door with C4 ready in hand, plant 2 blocks on the enemy spawn vehicle and pull the dentonator trigger as you make your escape bullets taking chunks out of your health bar all the time and then boom up it goes! Territory saved for a few minutes, that moment was yours, tastes so good!

*both of the above time after time......

Whilst the successful event does not happen most of the time, those moments are awesome and the normal game is exciting too. I've been gaming a long time and the scale of an event like that just isn't present in any other I've played. I'm not saying this is the best multiplayer FPS ever but it certainly is a contender for most epic!

It's now over 2 years since I made this review and I'm still loving it, the community is mostly awesome and there is still so much fun to be had.

Do not ever let anyone tell you this is pay to win by the way, money will never buy you an advantage, only time can do that, just like any other game.

Come on in, talk, learn, communicate, so important to ask questions, this is a team orientated game, whilst not impossible for solo play, learning the game is better with friends, find some in game, join squads, run with outfits, you can always leave and find another if you don't feel it's right for you.

There is still nothing on the market of this scale or price - FREE! that even comes close to the epic battles you can experience on Auraxis.
