Congratulations, the isle is perfect for you! Your keen and special interest in the main theme behind this video game will blind you from the stale gameplay, lack of features and a slow development cycle!

With no proper long time vision for a final product, the development team are hard at work making unnecessary changes, developing in odd directions & wasting time with exciting "concepts" that will never see the light of day!

Despite these short comings, a love for dinosaurs will keep you coming back and make you much too invested in growing your little dino, to look away from this developmental dumpster fire, because at the end of the day, the graphics and art direction are quite good & have carried this game for a long time.

Recently many competitors have arisen in the dino-survival genre, but none of them capture The Isle's aura, its vibe. A wholesome presenting dinosaur game is (intentionally or not) a terrifying & difficult survival game with very interesting dynamics that hold SO much potential, which has kept dinosaur nerds, like me, captivated for so long.

This game could be SPECTACTULAR, but it requires some proper direction & a competent leader at the head. I remain hopeful yet pessimistic.

feels like its held together with tech screws and duct tape but it has its moments. Due for a new instalment.
