This game on easy is so hard! Love it and hate it....

I was exploring the surface world and came upon a desert. I went to a cactus and aimed up and started to kick. I was delighted when I saw my guy sinking into the sand. I kept kicking and kicking thinking I would be able to dig my way down into some secret area...The developers have added so much elements because once I got about 5 ft underground, my character started to suffocate. I drowned.....In Sand 10/10!

Honestly I think I am the only one who believes that the reveal trailer was pretty spot on for what the gameplay was. (Not what Sean Murray said in the beginning interviews though) If you go back and watch the reveal trailer the only thing NMS didnt have at the launch was the Creature AI so no Rhino or dinosaurs, but everything else was pretty spot on. I think other AAA titles have lied worse than NMS. Honestly the game now is pretty darn good. Especially when you get into it a little and tweak the graphics to get butter smooth 60fps. Here is what they still need to do in my opinion.

1- Improve animals. They need a whole update targeting creatures. Add more sound effects and model types. Add more behaviors besides aimless running around. Stalk, smell, herds, play, watch, curiosity, hunt, drink, nests, roam, sing. These are all things the creatures need.

2- Improve the speed of buying and selling. It is really annoying having to close out of trade conversations with aliens only to reopen them to buy one more item

3- Planet weather needs a little bit of a graphics haul. The rain never shows up right and doesnt have any weight to it. Also planets shouldnt all be the same color throughout the whole planet. Create biomes within the planet. Nothing drastic but just a smidge of color pallet and formations. (They have this to an extent because they have oceans islands and continents. )

Other than that the game has been a lot of fun. I bought this game when it was first released and played about 1 hour of it and never returned. Now with the beyond update I am really getting into it and it has been proven to be a lot of fun. There are still a few infuriating glitches, but that is to be expected. I have so much to unlock and do. :) I also love the idea of the powering system in the game how you have to create power to keep the lights on in your base.

No Mans Sky is extremely confusing at first but dont rush it you will catch on within a few hours. Great game and honestly people are being way to harsh on this title.

I havnt finished the game yet, but so far I am enjoying it for what it is. The developer has clearly taken an extreme affinity for Amnesia which is neither good nor bad. I my self love Amnesia so I understand why you would follow in its footsteps. There a few things that I think the Developer should do that would really make the game flow a little better. The movement of the character is just too fast. It would be much more immersive if I wasnt flying around at the speed of light. This is poor mans Amnesia which is not a bad thing. I am also glad and enjoying the fact that the Developer has put this game up for free. The developer has good talent and has made a pretty good amnesia clone even if it feels a bit stale and lacking uniqueness. Overall its good!

Got this game on sale for about 50 Cents..... Definitly worth 2 quarters, and though the grapghics arnt amazing, the game runs very smoothly and the mechanics are desgined very well..... I am enjoying this game and purchasing 2 more for my crazy friends to play.
