I bought this game a week after launch as I usually do with such games since launches being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is a norm now. That being said I skipped the server downtime and have had very little occasions where we get booted out of a game. That being said the game is still disgusting and a total downgrade to its predecessor.

People usually say the graphics are nice but PD2 was running on an outdated engine, these graphics seem cleaner but still are nothing special. In-fact the graphics feels like MW3 with better shaders (a game which released 2011).

The progression system is garbage and feels like you are being spat in the face for playing. You level up by doing challenges instead of the standard progression that we are used to. This means that you can full stealth a mission and get all loot and the only thing you will recieve is cash. This slows down your leveling making you feel unrewarded for playing stealth which should be a major part of the game. The main way you gain XP in by killing meaning that you are better off doing the Touch the Sky bathroom strat to gain levels which includes you not playing the heist but instead being sieged in a bathroom killing enemies until you get bored.

Id recommend doing the 99 Boxes xp exploit (while it is available) every time you get a weapon as you can instantly level it instead of unlocking a compensator after playing 2 full heists on loud.

Regarding weapon unlocks, some weapons have better attachments available early while others have them as a last attachment which is locked by the crypto points you need to farm.

Stealth is fun and can be very forgiving with the correct perks, if you get noticed while masked you can hack a guards phone and they revert to searching or you can use it to pass by a guard unnoticed.

Some mods already have better customization than what you are offered in-game. PD2 had better options for creating your own mask and I just wish they carried some of that over to this game. Also you need to gain lvl 100+ in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ progression system just to get a recolor of a jacket and jeans.

The menu is awful, when you need to buy a gun you get redirected to a different screen to buy it and then you have to exit the shop to got back to the loadout and equip it instead of buying it from the loadout. The new menu just looks like a straight joke with you needing to scroll through all missions to find the one you want and the cutscenes always reappear after you press a button to hide them. You are unable to mute the audio for each heist meaning that you have to listen to the full dialog before the game puts you in a party, this is very annoying and I suggest installing a mod to mute them. (there is also a mod for the old Crime.net look that is much better than the current ♥♥♥♥)

Enemies are based on what part of the heist you are in, if you have not yet started the first objective you will get the basic units including shields, tasers, and hostage rescue. Each objective ramps up the units and after you get to the point where you get the bags the game turns into the final assault. This is annoying because you could have been doing the game on stealth until the very end and the first wave they will throw at you is a final wave instead of gradually increasing the enemy difficulty. This seems like lazy design and the PD2 build up of the assault seemed much more realistic.

I left the obvious for last as you do not have a solo gamemode and you must make an online party with just yourself and no option to remove the bots. This was a feature that was added in PD2 which for some reason was not implemented here.

I am sure that the game will get better with time but this is not a finished product and seems rushed and disappointing, the only thing keeping me from uninstalling are mods which make the game better and add funny stuff like a HUH sound effect when you get noticed or an among us loot bag.

If you find the game for cheap you should prob get it as it will get fixed in time but for now I cannot recommend this trash unless you really want to play it.

Been playing this game since Operation Blood Orchid and overall in terms of content this game has content with every season two new operators and a new map ( or a reworked old one ). Like every game it gets repetetive at a point so you either start doing stupid stuff with friends or if you dont have friends you find ways to kill the enemy players in a cheap way and make them pissed af so you get a slight moment of satisfaction ( usually through spawnpeeking, setting up bizzare trap combiations, expoliting spots that give you an advantage etc ). Starting this game anew youll have plenty of operators to master and maps to learn and expolit. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tactical shooter. Although I wouldn't put it in my top 5 fav games its something I can go to when im bored.

Great game! I love it but the only thing thats bugging me is the lag compensation.

I enjoy this game alot the only downside about Cod is the community.I like the cases and the drop of the cryptokeys is well balanced upon win and loss.More weapons should be added over time even if they are from the cases.Overall great game ! 69/9:11

It was a very fun game I met alot of friends and learned Russian but the new rank system ruined the game for me RIP csgo 2016
