To start off, I love Spintires. Now, about the Chernobyl DLC.
The first thing that immediately strikes you is how small this map is. The paths you take between various locations are extremely narrow for the most part. The real Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is roughly 30 KM in diameter, and I expected a much bigger map, even if not to scale. There are a couple odd bugs that I noticed, mostly collision and texture issues. There are two objectives on this map, which means that despite it being pretty cramped, you travel quite a lot, which is a good thing for me personally, but some might see it as a nuisance, thus I leave it up to you.
There definitely are some beautiful places on this map and you'll see most of the notorious landmarks. However, due to the map being extremely small, they aren't easy to get to and fully appreciate, so the thorough exploration of the map is recommended after playing through the objectives and by restarting with a UAZ.

Chernobyl DLC for Spintires is a fantastic IDEA. But, in my humble opinion, it was poorly executed. The potential of Spintires Chernobyl concept is far greater than what we have in the end.

I find it difficult to rate this DLC, but in the end it's a thumbs down, because this concept was super cool but it was half-a$$ed. Buy it on sale, if you really want to. I don't think it's worth the full price.

Secrets and puzzles,
the flash of your muzzle
lights the path like the storm outside.
Diaries of madness,
in this labyrinth endless
stay awake, fight your fears and survive.
Many have perished
in the halls of this mansion,
turned to life beyond life - walking dead.
They're the least of your troubles
in this house of puzzles...
There is more on the path ahead.

To start off, this is one of the best CRPGs out there.
Wasteland 2 is the game that makes you feel the weight and the impact of your choices... Perhaps, the most important aspect of any role-playing game. Saturated with irony and humour it does not cease to remind you of its grim and, actually, very sad story. Not even once before have I finished the game only to start it over again to try an alternative path, to see what could have been and what still can be... On top of all that, once you finish the game for the first time, it allows you to use the same already levelled characters in the new game -- very handy for those who just want to see the other side of the story, get other achievements and loot those toasters and safes which you couldn't crack before. I feel like I could have done an in-depth analysis, talk about the pros and cons of the game, but, in the end, for each there'll be their own. Have you ever had 3 chickens or goats follow you in a game, though? Yeah, thought so. This is a good game for old-school Fallout fans. If it was not enough that it is produced by some of the original Fallout crew, Mark Morgan himself wrote the soundtrack. Remember those tunes when you just approached the Brotherhood of Steel's bunker? Yeah, that's the guy... This is a good game for patient people who love a good story. This is a good game for the lovers of atmospheric post-apocalyptic setting. This is a good game for those who want to kick some robot canisters. And it's a good game for people who want their decisions to matter. This is a damn good game and I want you to play it.
Wolfskopf.

P.S. Steam links the review for Wasteland 2: DC as the one for original Wasteland 2, as they are sold together. My experience in the DC game is 80+ hours, in which I've played through the whole game.
