Game is SUPER buggy. Sims not going to work or school. Sims frozen in place. Etc etc blah blah blah, the list goes on. I love the Sims series, but come on...this is absurd.

I can not currently recommend this game, as every time I want to play LAN with my husband (rather than buy a server), the connection always times out, his server never shows, can't join off of steam, etc. The ONLY time we've been able to play together, is when we play on a server someone has PAID FOR. PLEASE FIX YOUR MULTIPLAYER LAN SHENANIGANS. This has been a ongoing problem for myself, my spouse and our friends for a good few months now, and I'm fed up with it. I could possibly be enjoying this game with my fellows, on a nice little LAN server, but nah.

Game looks like a lot of fun. Wouldn't know. Spent hours over the span of a few days just trying to get in to a server, never to even see a single minute of game play. Pretty disgruntled, but it happens with Early Access titles I guess. Trying to get a refund now. Might repurchase later and give it a shot (and change my review), but as it stands...DO NOT BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW.

Absolutely adorable game! I am thoroughly loving this; the in game quests and leveling system has me giddy. I can't wait to see this game in its finished state.

Not recommended in current state. Wait to purchase. Controls are clunky, tutorial only shows keyboard controls and skips telling you what gamepad controls are. Overall...not the best experience starting out. Might give it another go later on, but at the moment. Needs a grid, for sure, because I could NOT, for the life of me, plow straight lines by hand and it made me lose complete interest in the game almost immediately.

Why didn't I purchase this sooner?! It sat on my wishlist for a few months, sadly waiting for the day I would pick it....Today was that day! I purchased the game on sale, and it's the best thing I've bought in a good, long while! I adore the little easter eggs and nods towards general nerd culture. The soundtrack is just...ear candy. The graphics? Yes. Oh yes. Controls are easy peasy on a controller. All the different elements that come together to make up this game have my so, so smitten with Evoland. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this game nearly as much as I am, and look forward to many more hours spent with it :D After four hours, I have yet to come across a single bug, which seems to be a common complaint with earlier reviewers.

I can't give the game a "rating", seeing as I didn't actually get to play. I made my account, created a character and ended up #659 in queue to join the game. I am NOT waiting that long to play this game. Maybe I'll try again another time.

I <3 this game. I'm so hooked. It's easy to pick up and learn. I can't wait to see what else this game has in store for the players! So, SO glad I purchased this!

I am so smitten with this game. My only grief is that I wish there was a leader board, challenges...something to keep you playing longer. I can't wait to see what future updates bring to this game :)

The art style is absolutely adorable. Controls are straightforward and easy to understand. The game play is a little repetitive, though. Combat is a little bit more difficult than anticipated, leading to a lot of running the same section of the game over and over again(I'm watching the developer stream right now, and they are doing the same thing over and over and over again). All together, not a bad game. I'm enjoying it thus far.
