This game is one of the best military simulation games out there, no matter if you like to take things slow or fast, there will be a gamemode that will suit your own playstyle. With recent DLCs such as Apex and the Marksmen update, it adds even more content to the base game. The base game however isn't where this game shines however. It is the community. The community makes a ton of mods for this game to a incredible and realisic standard. Complete with vehicles, aircraft, skins and sound packs, you can customise Arma 3 to your liking. With mods, you can join other players on modded servers for gamemodes such as Altis Life and hardcore Military Simulation or MilSim for short, which is my personal favourite among the gamemodes. The damage system is realistic, having you severely wounded or killed within the first shot, and with good body armour, that number would slowly increase, but first shot kill capabilities with a 7.62 AK-12 or 6.5 MX still remains quite high. Wearing body armour alos means you are trading of speed and stamina for protection. Tank protection or APCs are also reasonable, with MBTs(Main battle tanks) knocked out with a single RPG shot to the rear engine compartment and one shot from anywhere for an APC(Armoured Personnel Carrier) or IFV(Infantry Fighting Vehicle). Combined arms and teamwork in this game is highly valued, as you will most definetly lose if you lone wolf. This game is generally fun and challenging and I would definetely recommend this game.

This game is a unpolished diamond to say the least, I love the gameplay elements and variety of ships it provides me with.

General Impressions:
The gameplay at the start is fairly repetitive. However, once you get the better ships, the game turns 180 degrees from "I am just a merchant, pirates please don't kill me." to "I am going to murder every single one of you and sell your ship."

The game itself lacks a tutorial, which does not help in new players getting in the game. You also cannot use the LMB as your "Shoot" button, which annoys me, keybindings can be found on the main menu at the "Preferences" button, but a tutorial will be more fitting to the game. If you think that first mission is a tutorial. GTFO. That guy only tells you where to go and how to jump(I think). For further game information on how to play, you need to read the merchant hails in the bottom of the screen. You also need to pay off a mortgage from the bank which will probably take you 3-4 hours of constant freighting around and finding transport and mass trransport missions.

The Campaign: (Spoilers)
The campaign is short and sweet, kicking it off with an sudden attack on the Republic shipyard with a nuke. (Yes, a literal nuke) You then spiral into a storyline where you side with the Free Worlds on reconaissance missions. Later on after said missions, plus a few transport and escort missions here and there, you will be offered to join the Free Worlds, where you get paid money! After this part, you will be asked to fight in the war against the Republic as they have taken a nearby star system. By this time, you should have a fleet of 3-4 ships, or it will be hard to complete the missions the Free Worlds give you. After a lot of fighting and infiltrating, you will discover the Syndicate is behind all of it and you will attack them instead which will make you in turn discover Aliens. You will fight the aliens which have advancd techlogy which you will aqcuire. You will then fight Syndicate Extremists who will launch nukes at you, which you need to evade with a cloaking device. Once that is over, you get marked as a hero and you will return to your normal life.

Late Game:
In the late game, it is pretty much discovering and expeditions, there is not much to do. Get Bactrians and get a jump drive, find the Hai, Wanderer and Korath murder them or buy their technology and kill the Quarg, get their technology and conquer the galaxy. That is literally the aim of the game after the campaign as it gets really repetitive after that. Still. Killing pirates and merchants are still a fun way to test your fleet's strength. If you want more of a challenge, try and go kill the Drak

Final Thoughts and Conclusion:
Generally a fun game to play after you get past early game, repetitive after campaign.
Improvements can be made by extending the campaign a little bit and adding in more variety of enemies and objectives to do after the campaign, like interactions with the Free Worlds and the Republic Senate. Or maybe missions to explore and see new things in the game. It needs some polishing, but it has the potential to become a good game.
To the players, get some addons and mods to make the game more interesting. There are like Star Wars mods in the game and ships are being made by a lot of people. Check Reddit for more addons and ships, Unfortunately there are no Star Destroyers. Developers, if you are reading this, make the Star Destroyer a thing, or maybe you can do other things on planets instead of just a click menu. Thanks for you efforts on developing and updating the game.

That's my review on this game. Please rate if you find this helpful. I would recommend this game. It's free, what do you have to lose. Right?

This game...This game has been around since 2007! And i have played it since then. It has been a really good experience for us gamers who doesn't really have much money. This game is THE game you would waste your time on.It has a unique class system and promotes teawork to achieve a objective.Although there are some lone wolves out there,it is generally about the team effort where you could win a game. Generally a public server is where all the noobs are,but if you want a competitive experiece, I recommend going on to TF2center. They do semi competitive matches. In public servers except for the occasional "pub stomper" or "tryhard" there are usually good people. Definetely recommend this game to all the gamers out there, this is like the most famous game in history of FPS. So yea! 9/10-IGN Not enough water. Well hope you have enjoyed this review, just download the game already!

This game is for those who like RTS and modern warfare! The good thing is NO resource management and base building! For thos who like to build bases this is not for you. But for those who want to get IN the ACTION, this game is definetely for you and worth the money with regular free DLCs 10/10 -IGN

This is a really good game which Gaijin worked hard on with DLCs and the recent ground forces map,. It is quite a simulator if you know the simulator controls. It's also a good game for those WWII lovers out there who hopes to drive/pilot a famous BF109 or the B-17. It's physics are also quite relistics and Gaijin's improving the game with constant updates.I recommend it.The only downside is that you might need to spend some money to progress faster through all the tech trees.other than that, this games is very replayable and have near to no flaws.
