There I was, I had just put some money onto my Steam Wallet to prepare for the amazement that is the Steam Summer Sale, I was pondering for many moments, browsing the front page. I knew I wanted a game but which game. I'm on a Mac you see so not many games are available. Prison Architect was there though. I was questioning my mate (I later found out that he had no previous experience with the game) and he just said "If you want." I responded with, "Of course I want!" And thusly proceeded to acquire Prison Architect in the usual fashion.

I ordered a pizza and let the game download, presuming it would take my 'terrible' internet a while to download. I was surprised to find that the game was simply 150 MB in size and my 'terrible' internet was able to download it in a matter of minutes. I went onto it. Tried to change around with the settings, being in a Skype call and having the game sounds blaring into your ears wasn't the greatest thing. With that tweak well and truly sorted I moved on to play the game.

The first thing the game asked me to do was to build an execution room and I was already excited. Have you always wanted to build a room to kill all those that wronged? Then this is the game for you! Having completed the introduction I thought I was ready to move onto larger and greater things... I've never been so wrong in my life before.

I went onto load up a world in all it's default gloryness. Built the usual holding cell, office, canteen and kitchen. Proceeded to hire a warden, one million guards and two cooks. Then the normal risk prisoners arrived.

I was there in all my naivety believing the guards would able to handle these prisoners... again, I've never been so wrong in my life before.

Trying to pimp out the kitchen when a red sign pops up saying '1..2...3...4..5...6...7 prisoners escaped'. I immediately scanned the area, spotting out the escapees and bringing them back to justice. Turns out, the guards would rather fight a guy inside the holding cell as opposed to capturing those who flee. It was a dead end and I had to plow on.

In the end, I just turned out to be really bad at the game and as much as I found it difficult it truly is an enjoyable game. I do recommend you buy it this sale or if not buy it whenever.

This is one of those pull-your-hair, slit-your-writs, swear-at-your-screen, break-your-keyboard, throw-your-controller-out-of-the-window action platformers.

It is extremely difficult (unless you're a platforming god with UBERHAX) and takes a while to get used to. The design of this game may seem basic but it is brilliantley built with references to other amazing games.

If you're feeling suicidal through the rage you're feeling then it's okay. We've all felt that through this game.

If you're wondering wether the difficulty of this platformer makes it something you shouldn't buy then you are very mistaken. It's worth every penny.

Super Hexagon maybe called a minimal action game. I think it should be called an addictive pull-your-hair game. I believe I've played 10 too many hours of this game but I don't think it was hours wasted.

If your looking for a game that you'll play in your free time, or on a crappy computer (as I do) this is the game. Very cheap during a sale and worth every penny.

This is an exceptionally great turn based strategy game. I haven't played many other games like this but it has encouraged me to. I actually hadn't played the other 4 games in the Civilization series and I found getting into the game a bit tricky but with the help of some mates and the wiki I managed to love the game. I ended up creating a relatively awesome empire only to be crushed by a backstabbing 'friend'.

So if you're wondering wether to buy this game or not I would recommend you do and buy the DLC Brave New World, it adds so much and makes it so much better. Buy it, get into the game and start up with your friends.

Kerbal Space Program is a very fun game. Although it is single player I have high hopes for SQUAD and I do hope they make co-op.
KSP makes you create awesome rockets and then just blow them up at a later date.
