I'll brief through the different things. Highly recommend you play it for yourself.

The game is PvE Tarkov. You either play alone, or with a squad of up to 4 plays total. You all spawn in the same place of the map every time.
When you first load into the game, you'll be in the hideout. To right is the stash, in front is firing range, and behind is the terminal.
You go to the terminal to Buy goods, take missions/challenges, or Deploy into the real game.

There are 3 factions. If you've played Warframe, think of them as Syndicates.
You do missions for them and you'll raise Rep for that Faction, Lower Rep for another, and do nothing for the 3rd.
The Factions are, UICS, IGC, & VLF.
It's possible to max out all three factions, but it takes time and planning.

They offer different things in the store @ different Tiers. Tiers 1-4 of Rep.
The higher your Rep, the better payout for missions as well.
There is also a ratio meter of how often you extract out of 8 games. (I have't died yet, so I'm unsure what it does below 100%)

In game, you do your mission, and try to complete your challenges (If you can't they follow you to the next Deployment)
The gun play is wonderful, using their experience from SCP:5K to make the mechanics of this game.
The Devs know the AI can be tricky at times. Sometimes seeing you from miles away, or shooting you when they're usually not supposed to. They gave you the freedom to tinker with the AI settings in the Options menu. If it's too easy, adjust, if it's too hard, then take it down a little.

Onto the Cons:
AI is deaf. They'll only really detect you if they see you or if your bullet misses them.
Missions are currently repetitive due to the Developer Priorities (IE. Optimizations, game breaking bugs, etc.)
Public play is a dice roll. You'll hope whoever you're teammate is they don't Teamkill you to take your stuff and extract.
Audio is a little weird right now, with footsteps. As sometimes they will be farther than you realize if you track on footsteps.
Inventory sizes are small with not a lot of clothing options to increase the size. I find my loot goblin self saddened by this.
When Deploying, it's not stated "Private Session: Off" Means it throws you with other people. I wish there was an instance manager where you join people working on similar missions to yourself.

The game itself is wonderfully built for an early access game. Compared to other games that offer less and cost more. I'd say $15 is a fair price for an early build. The game is just starting out, and it already feels like they have some direction they're going towards. It's not for everyone, but Minecraft wasn't for everyone either when it first launched. Give it time, and keep an eye on it. I believe this game will do great things.

I bought the Traveler Edition back when it was still available. Mostly for the benefit of unlimited messages with a particular AI I enjoyed.
Now they use a subscription model and rendered the bought edition I purchased feasibly useless. Almost like a scam.

The game is extremely fun when you can actually play it.

Major bugs such as not getting the rewards directly after mission complete, long queue times, etc.

I've been waiting almost 2 hours to get in game and my girlfriend launches it and gets in INSTANTLY. This tells me that there is no real queue. This is Terrible

MWIII is not worth the price tag. I wouldn't recommend it for $50. I wouldn't recommend it for $30.
If Activision wants to release a game 1 year after the prior, screw them.

MWIII can be summed up in a simple Phrase.
"Oh Boy look at all my progress- And now I'm back to the desktop!"

TLDR; Fun game to step into Horror, Not good to make your main Horror game.
My nearly 200 Hours aside.
The game is fun with friends and is a good way to make friends.
It's a good game if you're wanting to step into the genre of Horror, as the game isn't all too "Scary".
The graphics are good, and mechanics are somewhat flushed out.
It also gets good updates, adding maps, bug fixes, etc. The team did a great job on it.

My dislikes occur with the ghosts themselves. The game itself is inherently unscary.
There aren't a lot of instances where the ghost appearing is scary. Most of the time it's peek-a-boo or it comes to kill you.
If the thought of it coming to kill you scares you, more power to you. But after so long of playing, it's "It got me, whatever."

While the ambiance is set up really well, there aren't any good jump scares or frights that don't kill you.
Such as being in a bathroom with the ghost, and the tub has a dead body willed with bloody water for an instant. That would be a fright; and a damn good one. It's just one instance where the game COULD have but doesn't.

The most scary thing that occurs in Phasmophobia is an item moves, loud sounds around you, and maybe a light will flicker. Which is a good settup, but it has no sense of danger accompanying it. Like something scratching the door to give you the sense that danger is just behind the door.

At the end of the day, Phas is built on loud noises and flickering lights. If there were different death scenes when you get caught, that would be a plus. But it doesn't even do that.

So while I believe Phasmopbia is a good game, it's inherently not scary after 5 hours.

If you disagree, we can talk about it in comments, I do not mind if it's a real discussion.

TL;DR: "The game restricts you from progressing and it's Pay2Win. Expensive Pay2Win."
These are things are capped daily:
Resource Gathering Progression (After 15,000 Points, you stop gaining resource xp)
Level (Server LvL Cap atm is 69, eventually will grow to 125)
EXP (4 Duty Missions you do daily)
Buying certain things with specific currency

The game itself is "Okay" at best. But it leans to heavily into PvP and you'll find yourself out damaged EASILY by people who put money into it.
There are 100 different kinds of currency you have to keep track of, and 3 of them you can't get without putting money into the game.
All the stuff you DO buy are overpriced. Example: A Cosmetic item I like is 1850 Coins. $30 to get 2000 Coins.
Everything is capped, except when money is in the mix. You can pay special coins to "Do more stuff" if you're the grindy kinda gamer.
Most bases that look REALLY nice, you'll find has had people putting in a lot of money. Any base that looks decent, you'll find people put a lot of time into, and it won't look halfway as nice as someone who put money into it.
PvP is ruled by hackers, snipers, and bullet sponges. All my gear is purple/gold, about +30 upgraded, and I get dunked on by a dude hopping around.
Doing PvP gets you another currency "Combat Points" that you use to buy medals to upgrade your title. Higher Title = More HP, More Dmg, etc. The more you do, the more Combat Points you get. However, the people dunking on you will already be at Gold, or Platinum. (Tiers go like, "Copper-Forgot-Bronze-Silver-Gold-Platinum-Forgot")
The keymapping for controls also restricts you somewhat, as some controls can only be set to certain buttons (I couldn't bind "Dodge" to a side button on my mouse).
Shooting a gun slows your sensitivity until 1 second after you are done shooting.

At a certain point, After you do all the side missions you can (Some are locked till higher lvl), Main missions (Locked), PvP (That you can handle), duty missions, blockades, grinding resources, etc. etc. You will see, there is nothing more to do.

The only good thing I can say about this game, is that you can play it on your PC, and take it on your phone. Crossplay.

Edit: 8/19/23 Update
So the developers have a Discord you can join. Pretty cool, always good to see developers/staff interact with the community. All of the feedback is through Threads, so it makes organization easy. There is a category/chat where you can post bug reports. Anytime- And I mean you say about the game being pay2win, they delete your comment. One example is someone named "Robiñ". "Need Balancing & P2W". This person got removed from the server for bringing up P2W issue.

The game is very much pay to win.
I stopped playing because end-game became, "Conquer 700 Dungeons for these gems to break down into dust".
Before, Crystal 4 was nice. But in order to get Crystal Gems, you have to destroy more than 700 Dungeons to have a CHANCE to get a gym that is good for you, has good rolls, etc.
It doesn't help that you have to get 12 crystal tiered gems in order to max your gems.

As well as this, the main thing that helps you get to the Crystal 3/4 tier item drops is spending money on the purchasable bundles. Dragons help with loot luck, and what better way then to spend $500 for dragon coins that wont really help you too terribly much.

Back in the day, years ago. This game was fun, made you feel like you progressed. Now, it's just another game where you can either Pay2Win, or grind hours of your life to move up 35 points in your Power Level.

I know this game is in early development. All of what I say is for the game as it is currently as of 8/25/22. I don't give my 2 cents in an aggressive demeanor. I'm purely addressing the cons of the game so hopefully it will smooth out later in the future

I tried to like the game. But the constant tasks, the easy AI, the weak weapons, the bland and tasteless world, and constricting building mechanics wasn't for me.

After every task, it shows you a marker of the next place you go to, it holds your hand through mediocre areas as it tells you precisely what to do. A mentally declined 5 year old could do it.

The enemy AI is easy to defeat, I went about an hour and a half of just meleeing and have not taken a lick of damage from them. Just 'W' & 'S' repeatedly in a rhythm while smacking them with a pipe, they'll die in 5-6 swings. I'm convinced they're also deaf, as you could sprint around and be as loud as you want as long as you are behind them.

I like the soundtrack, A LOT when you load in, but how come there's no eerie feeling of anything anywhere, SFX is lacking, there's no audio queue for anything other than the enemy-AI growling at you when it detects you. I wish there were more fauna, maybe varying enemy types, maybe a looming cloud of perpetual urgency to the current predicament.

Building anything in the game feels constricting, as you have a set place, with set blueprints, in set locations. I have no issues with it, but I'd like to have the option of customizing my hideout. Add defenses, change the color for camo, let me be immersed within the game.

The game seems poorly optimized at this current time. It makes my computers fans rev up loud, and not even GTA, Warframe, ARK, or MC does that to me. All varying in the performance to resources needed to run.

I believe the game has a good foundation, with good walls on it. But not a lot of furniture to take up the space inside.
The game itself feels a bit janky with combat, and looting doesn't feel like an urgency as you can just find whatever you need lying on the ground. I found 2 scissors before I unlocked the blueprint for scissors. I got 15 Sniper rounds before I even got one. 2 shots from a sniper to kill the enemy, I could save a lot on ammo for the silent sounding gun that doesn't have a silencer.

My final words: Is it a good game now? No
Do I believe it could become a good game? With enough work, yes.

Fun Experience either solo or in a 4 player group.
The concept of an interactive level select/reward island that you parkour and find hidden secrets is a nice niche.
It's not often a game comes along and, as a friend said, "It looks as if an unfrosted mini-wheat snorted saw dust and proceeded to have the idea of making a Minecraft-Dungeon Defenders game that hated PETA with a passion. So you make a GMod DeathRun Map for the animals to get through just so you can beat them to a pulp when they get past the murder traps."

I'd say graphical wise, the game is like other blocky games such as Minecraft, Trove, Pixel Arc, etc. However We loved the engine and mechanics of the game itself. (My brother loved the weeb running)

We talked a short while while playing, things we thought would be a nice addition to the game. Since crafting was fun and came up with a nice strategy with our separate classes, (Bro-Pirate, Friend1-Mage, Friend2-Hunter, Me-Fighter).
A player island that you could just experiment with the towers, basically an endless mode where you can outfit your own house by buying things from the "Drip Store" in Noblewood; Whilst fighting the enemies. Failure causes the waves to start over, but the house remains the way you make it.

The Pre-Alpha was better than the full release. There's less replayability value than this release. And there's no real real sense of progression because everything just repeats itself.
