The game is fun, but there are SO many egregious flaws that are still present or even growing, from monetization to bugs that have no reason to still be present. As a not very competitive player, mostly just playing local or online with friends, some of the main issues lie in things like random moves/brutalities/fatalities somehow still have incorrect inputs displayed on the menus this long after launch, player 2 in local not being able to use any skins/items OR being able to see any unlocked fatality/brutality inputs (which is downright stupid). As far as monetization goes, you get a very finite number of premium currency which is whatever, I can look past not being able to get every skin, but the sheer number of what's being monetized is crazy. Even the upcoming seasonal Halloween fatality is going to be added to the premium store; a FATALITY will be pay-walled. Invasions mode is alright IMO and I like the seasonal rewards, but it's overall kinda meh. Kameos are a fun addition. The gameplay feels good for the most part (aside from issues like P1 advantage, which while resolved now is crazy that it made it out of testing). That's about it. Otherwise, this is an unfinished project that was rushed out by WB and overridden with cash-grabs at every corner. Give it a year and maybe a discount before you check it out, as long as monetization hasn't run totally wild it might be worth it by then.

uninstalling from my PC so it doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ beat out everything else on my steam wrapped again next year. gonna keep it on my phone tho

Fun at first but very quickly becomes far too repetitive. Creativity is limited by customers wanting expensive items, and with no color options for furniture/floors/walls, you'll be stuck making some pretty ugly mashups for good reviews. If that wasn't enough, the game is hindered by game-breaking bugs and now updates that will wipe your save data in such an already grindy game. With it lacking some core features you'd expect to find in a game about decorating, you're better just waiting for release and hoping or just picking up the Animal Crossing dlc when it comes out.

Only downside of this game is the abrupt ending to Buddy's questline
