Campers' game:

- Players camp or run for minutes to get to the campers to subsequently kill them.
- Because of point above, requires high learning curve to understand where they're hiding to even kill them.
- If this is a game you want to play casually, no chance.

Lacks depth:

- Maps basic with c&p'd grass/buildings.
- Only around 4 maps
- Limited factions.
- Few guns & weaponry.

Seems unoptimized:

- Graphics are dubious for a 2018 game.
- Laggy and jaggedy gameplay controls when moving, no smooth turning or running on the maps.
- The audio for a truck or tank turns on and off like a switch e.g. brrrrrrr--- second they stop moving *silence* (not realistic is it?).

Reskin of squad:

- Squad is a game still in early access, with Post Scriptum released as a full game? Ok. With all the pre-built engine and physics you'd think they would focus on gameplay and content - this wasn't the case.

*Will consider changing the review as more content and bug fixes are released...

Negatives:

Poor graphics - Justifiable but still should have shown some competitiveness to other first person shooters
Maps - 50/50 on gameplay, luckily there's community made maps
Guns/materiel - small, giving the appeal of a minigame lacking depth
Hit rates - *Could be better* fortunately for the devs, some imbeciles don't notice this
Community - Can't be controlled but shown a lack of coherence. If the game aims to have teamwork with squad leaders, radio roles and machine gunners then why is everyone most a 'one-gun and runner'?

Positives:

Large playerbase for MP;
Many servers;
Potential for unlimited gameplay with new maps;
Realistic intentions with 'squad tunnels' US grenade launcher etc;
Game's cheap;
Niche 'Vietnam war realism' style game which none other currently matches.

To conclude:

I shall continue to play this game out of habit for 'getting what I've paid for' as to be fair it is not unplayable but could be improved for the full retail price they offer here on Steam

Ok I would like to start off this review with a note: this game was fun for the first couple of hours of playing, after that it felt a bit repetitive and there was no real depth to it. I would only recommend the game if it was on a sale.

Pros:
-The graphics, they seem to be kind of comic styled or cartoon like with something far from realistic but unique and fitting.
-The playerbase, I have played other games similar to this but with limited amounts of players on the servers. Where as this game has plenty of selection with no doubt of finding a packed server with good to decent ping.
-Choice of classes. I believe that these classes are what makes the game what it is, they are all different with their own aspects, such as; the Man-At-Arms has the ability to run faster but to sacrifice this he will have less armor compared to the other classes. It evens out the game making a fair gameplay instead of an archer wth heavy armor, which would be unfair.
-Fast loading time onto the game, compared to some of my other games it seemed to be pretty fast.
-A understandable tutorial which you have the option of selecting, which gives you the indepth tips of perfecting your ability to fight on the battlefield.
-The server filters, which are easy to use. You can create a favorite server list, check what servers your friends are on, view your server history and use the server filter which is mainly used for changing gamemode and ping aswell as the option to search manually.

Cons:
-There was no option to remove the second sword selection, such as the dagger and replacing it with another item such as more throwing knives.
-The actual character response, it feels a bit slow when trying to attack then suddenly block, most of the time resulting in a death.
-It get very repetitive quickly, the only thing that changes is the maps and gamemodes, everything else; weapons, classes, sides, they never change. This game would possibly suit an advanced arcade machine, one of those games which has a limited fun time to it.
-Players in general, some of them will attempt to steal your kill, which you may have been working hard on achieving and coming close to killing them, as I was, this resulted in me launching a fire-pot his way for revenge.
-As far as I am aware, there is no option to join a server to stop the team-kill ability. I understand the developers are trying to keep it realistic, but half of the slashes which I produce will be accidentally focused on a team-mate, this usually happens when a brawl takes place and can be quite irritating.
-Price: I just checked the price to confirm, it is £18.99 here in the UK and currently €23.72 in the EU and $32.48 Dollars. I believe this price is extremely high compared to the amount of fun it gave me. (A couple of hours) Instead I would recommend getting this game on sale, like I did and then it will be well worth your money.

Haven't played much of the game, good to play if you like clans and the act of being tactical.

That kind of game you play when you're bored, the campaign is good, but i tend to find the online more of a challenge.

TF2, an amazing comic-shooter game, collect an array of unique items, some community developed others by Valve and become indulged in the rich concept that TF2 brings to the gaming table.
