This is everything I wanted from the game and more, buttery smooth controls, fun Grafiti mechanics, beautiful level design, a currently bustling modding community, its literally addictive, massive recommendation. It obviously isn't perfect, the plot, while interesting and got me invested very well, does have some pacing issues, there could stand to be a few more options for tricks, and the day one DLC is a little scummy (I say like I didn't buy it), but they're ultimately tiny blemishes on an incredible package. If you have any interest in Jet Set Radio, please get this game

One of my favorite Platinum games, I'm so glad that they finally got it off the Wii U. The port has some issues I will admit, specifically they made some weird decisions when it came to the framerate (which a mod has already been made to fix), but its still a fantastic experience I would recommend to anyone that likes platinum games or action games.

THE BEAT SHALL NEVER STOP. THE BEAT SHALL CONTINUE. THE BEAT SHALL FOREVER BE GROOVY!!!!!!!!!

Well now that that's out of my system, Crypt of the Necrodancer is a semi-Rogue-like rythm-based dungeon crawler and WOW thats a string of words i never thought i'd say together. You play as Cadence, a girl whom has entered the tomb (or roather, crypt) of the Necrodancer, looking for (SPOILERS). however sshe has fallen (heh) under his curse, and must now fight and move to the beat to survive. The game is a very unique one, where you cannot do anything unless you do it on beat, which is shown by a meter on the bottom (or for those wanting a challenge, or with a good ear for music, you can turn it off, and just go by the music), only on these beats can you move or attack, and the same applies for enemies, the more enemies you kill without miissing a beat, the more your multiplie goes up, the more your multiplier goes up, the more money you earn. money can be used to buy items from the shop keeper, ranging from armor, to weapons, to other helpful items. and the music, DEAR LORD THE MUSIC. It is so good you'll find yourself wrapped up in it, which is entirely the point, you CANT MISS A BEAT AND YOU WOULDNT WANT TO. the game is very difficult and takes a lot of skill to master, but it's very rewarding, and fun to play. If you dont like rythm games or dungeon crawlerie games, dont even look at this game, but for the rest of us, this is a very enjoyable experience
