This is the one boys, the game of the decade - it's a shame it came so early, we have 7 more years of mediocrity left...

Bethesda game in space - you know exactly what you're getting into, however the performance could definitely use some work.

Big improvement to fallout 4 in every aspect - significantly more role-play, silent protag, skill and background specific dialogue choices, and a much better story(not much of hurdle to clear), as well as interesting side content. Once you get into the loop, it's a very solid experience - at 50 hours in, I feel like I barely scratched the surface, and that's great.

This is the one boys, the real sequel to FEAR. Gunplay is crisp, but it's the destruction and the gore effects that really bring it all together.

Story is decent, with a nice bit of collecting "Intel" and reading it between missions. Nothing will blow you out of the water, but there's a nice twist here and there.

Graphics are great but performance can be a bit inconsistent when there's so much jibbing going on - on a 2080 and an i9 9900k at 1080p no DLSS I'll see it drop down to 70 is really intensive scenes on the "High" Preset.

It's a ride, an experience for sure. Definitely worth the price of admission.

James Gunn can learn a thing or two about character developing from Eidos. What a fantastic narrative!

Ignoring the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ progression system, the core Halo Infinite gameplay loop is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic. Truly sandbox evolved. 343 cut a lot of fat off the weapon roster - every weapon is distinct and unique, really moving the game away from "BR is king" of the previous entries. The combat is slick, fast, and fun. big thumbs up energy on this one boys.

I haven't even finished act 1 yet, restartitis is strong with this one. Anything less than the most optimal build is unacceptable. Luckily Pathfinder WOTR has more patience with me than my tabletop group.

Though the game explains everything in great detail(straight from the handbook), pathfinder players have always benefited massively from planning and pre-building a character. I would love for owlcat to integrate a build planner(maybe even allow it to auto-level your character) into the game so we no longer have to cheat the levels through Toybox.

Arkane to it's core. They've embraced the most important aspect of their games - replay-ability - and really focused around it.

What comes out is a fun, fast, engaging immersive sim that sometimes lacks depth, but never failed to keep me looping.

edit: the newest patch has fixed the stuttering issue.
