As most reviews have already explained, that damn janitor ruins the entire game. It would be fine if he was actually balanced at all, but instead he seems to be omnipotent, practically sees through walls and can hear you stand up from a mile away. Like... what? And mostly just cheap jump scares. The puzzles were interesting and so was the story, but the game is just so poorly balanced with the janitor that I can't keep playing it. The janitor makes it more of an annoying stealth game that makes you spend the majority of gameplay time just... waiting for him to ♥♥♥♥ off.
Complete waste of time, do not recommend.

As someone with a ridiculous amount of hours in this game, this DLC wasn't worth it. Very quick, texts were boring and more like an ad with the whole intern shtick, and it just wasn't as fun as the comparable Spongebob one. Would not recommend.
The free DLCs were even better than this one, oddly enough.

I literally only bought this game because I really liked their non-animated profile backgrounds and you need to own the game AND play 2 hours to be able to purchase it in the Steam points shop.

I played it and it was kind of annoying because you can beat it in an hour and then you're stuck leaving it running because you need to hit the two hour mark. But anyways now I have cute profile backgrounds of cat girls that are surprisingly well drawn and I got all the achievements for the game.

Bonus is that you get cat facts about all the cat breeds in the game, and it was funny seeing anthropomorphic versions of my two cats that I have, although they were unamused when I showed them, until I clicked the little cat blob and it meowed. Then they were interested.

Anyway not really worth the $3 unless you're like me and for some reason really want the profile backgrounds. Otherwise can hardly call an hour of repetitive puzzle gaming a full game.

Really boring and slow. It's less of an adventure and more of an interactive novel kind of game. You can choose what characters say, and sometimes interact with QTEs, but otherwise feels like they just took what could have been a movie and made you control some basic parts of it (moving from one point-of-interest to the next, looking at pre-marked objects, etc.)

Not what I expected for gameplay. The jumpscares are also super cheap, like, black & white creepy face with a scream. I'm not even kidding that happened 2 or 3 times in the short time I played. I love horror games like Fatal Frame and this just ain't that. If I really wanted to know the story, I'd just watch a gameplay video on youtube at this point. Story seems pretty average and just... not worth sitting through.

If you like games like Detroit Become Human and want a spooky one, then I guess you might like this.
For me, game has too little actual gameplay to call it a game.

I have played WAY too many hours of this game.... I replay the free-play levels regularly to relax, especially before bed.
I once had a guy come over for a date. He, for whatever reason, decided to immediately sit at my desk where I had just been gaming, opens up steam, and starts browsing my games. Then says "Why do you have over 250 hours in Power Wash Simulator lol".

He did not last long before getting kicked out. Unlike Power Wash Simulator, my love, which I have since put 50 more hours in, and counting. SUPER excited with the new (and free!) additions like the Tomb Raider levels, and potential future DLC. Given that I bought it for like $20 and have had THIS MUCH fun with it, its well worth the money if they keep adding things for me to clean. Maybe its because I'm Hispanic, but I really love this game.

I pretty much just exclusively do levels with the highest level power washer to relax, although it is pretty fun to work your way up from the crappy starter power washer to the fancy one with all the bells and whistles. Highly recommend putting on some lo-fi hip hop and just zoning out to this game.

My coworkers are still trying to figure out how to weaponize my obsession with powerwashing by hooking up a real power-washer to a controller so I can clean their driveways. If only....

Update: I'm now at 420 hours, niceee

Game feels very rushed and poorly made. The constant breaking and vacuuming is tedious and boring. Dialogue is full of grammatical errors, making some things hard to understand. It tries to make up for that with whimsical character, but it doesn't help much. The farming, animal husbandry, and crafting mechanics all feel awkward and bland. I finally gave up when for whatever reason I unlocked the upgraded kitchen and COULD NOT PLACE IT anywhere. It was bugged. Tried a few things but gave up because I was already feeling the urge to drop the game.

The characters are all bland and the world is very empty as well. It's trying really hard to go from the elements that make Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, and other games fun, but clearly didn't have the support needed to do so.

Early Access Review
It's a really great concept, and I do hope the devs continue to hone it into a better final product. I'm not sure I have faith in that though, as it released 3 years ago now.

Things I like:

1. Creative and interesting premise. Not the story line, but the idea of going out, cleansing areas, and saving animals/rehabing them. It reminds me of a game I loved as a kid on Nickolodean's old website where you saved animals and cured them before releasing them (Thornberry's game I think. Awful show, fun game.)

2. Survival aspects add a fun and realistic element that fits well with the other elements.

3. Looting areas is addictive, much like in Elder Scrolls or other games.

4. Lots of animal types.

Things I don't like:

1. Crafting. Usually, I love crafting, but in this game it is EXTREMELY grindy and tedious. You want to make an advanced workshop? You'll need to find/craft 300 Brick, 200 Cement, 30 Aluminum Ingot, 40 Steel Ingot, 20 Steel Plates, 120 Bolts, 10 Blue Alloy, 10 Electronic Components, one of each of 3 tool kit types and a vise. Oh, and the steel plates and blue alloy? You'll have to craft the Blacksmith which requires 200 Timber, 100 Nails, Small Hammer,Sledgehammer, 100 Metal Scraps, 10 Large Stone and 100 bricks. Oh, and that blue alloy? For each single one, you'll need 10 Blue Metal, 1 Silver Ingot, 1 Titanium Ingot, 4 Steel Ingot,1 Bronze Ingot, 1 Gold Ingot, 1 Copper Ingot. So multiply that by 10 since you'll have to craft ten of those.
So, I have to collect all of this, some of them very rare such as the blue metal. But you have a fairly limited carry capacity, and can only carry so many of each group. So if you have too many metal types? That's a trip to your storage. And it takes SO LONG to build up the items needed, that I end up having to run from custom storage to each custom storage to collect the materials I've stockpiled (each has 50 slots, I have one for rocks, metals, lumber, etc.). Whoops, forgot to grab the bricks from the rock storage, run back, run back to crafting station. It's a non-stop running around trying to manage the massive amount of materials required for each craft. If you DON'T want to do that, then enjoy travelling from place to place to get to each of the various workshops. Like, the chemistry station in nova, to craft cure/tame potions. Then travel to a blacksmith in another place, etc. It also takes so long for me to run around to all different maps to find the various pieces of cure potion materials, that I get too tired to continue playing to actually catch new animals. I'm so tired of hopping from one place to the next to find these ridiculous plants. If it could at least identify that my materials are on the island in storage so I could stop having to run from place to place, that would be a nice improvement.

2. Animals are boring. It's cool to catch them and set them in a pen, but after that you don't really do anything with them. They don't really care or interact with anything you craft for them, and there is no AI to them. You can't interact with them, other than have them follow you to fight. You don't have a relationship meter with them, or a happiness meter for their environment. You're just collecting them. They will then randomly roam around wherever you leave them, doing random munching or sleeping animations (that glitch all the time. I'm looking at you sliding camel.)

3. The pet feature is glitched to hell and back. I had Gorehounds, and VERY RARELY would the "Press F to send pets to attack" option come up. It has a super sweet spot for some reason, and will otherwise not be an option, and your pets will stand idly by until you get hit, and then they will typically attack the enemy, although sometimes that doesn't even work. So, while they are hard to obtain they are essentially useless. Instead, they regularly just got in the way of my shots and caused friendly fire, which would cause them to run away or attack me instead. Also, for some reason, EVERY TIME I reload they would double. And you have to reload a lot in this game, as it frequently breaks or glitches in a way where you have to be constantly saving/reloading. While that may sound cool (free Gorehound, right?) it instead results in the game getting laggy as hell, and the pets blocking entry into most indoor areas. Combat also becomes impossible because they just stand in the way and end up as a blocker. The game is already slow and laggy in some random maps, so this causes it to be unplayable. They drop down to 5 whenever you travel again, but travelling is already a minor annoyance.

4. Fighting. The mechanics to fighting are bland and repetitive. All enemies will just make beelines to you, and ignore any pets with you. You pretty much just blast them with a shotgun as soon as you unlock it, and then you're constantly just buying bullets. Any carnivorous or large animals that will attack you are the same. They beeline, do a slow attack, then continue to chase you. It's incredibly boring after a while.

5. Making money in this game is slow and difficult, and not really fun. You normally have to save tons of different ingredient types for crafting (alloys, leathers, foods even), so there isn't really anything "safe" to craft for cash, and loot is rarely found for just selling. Not that there's much to buy other than bullets anyways. You can't buy cure and tame potions, or anything convenient like that. Not even the stuff to make them can be bought. All grind.

6. Laggy. Lots of maps lag badly in random areas, and I have a machine that is built for VR and handles VR well. It's poorly optimized, much like ARK. Some areas are borderline unplayable.

7. The horse is like a drunk baby deer and impossible to steer. It takes forever to traverse the map without it, but it isn't much help with the controls.

8. No direction/mission. You get requests to "go to X place and cleanse it!!!1!!" but that's about it. They'll tell you to catch a certain animal, or craft a new workshop type, but those are all things you can do just running around. Half the time you'll be unable to find the 1% of the island that needs to be cleansed, and you'll be trapped in a limbo of never being able to cleanse it, and they don't give a damn that you cleansed 99% because there's still one spilled tank of generic contamination out there you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slacker. You basically run around aimlessly killing mutants, picking up animals, and spiraling further into crafting/grinding eternity.

9. Juvenile story line. The evil doctor Mor's took over the planet by crossing the portal into Gehenna (OOOH CLICHE REFERENCES) and bringing all these evil spooky creatures back to just ruin Earth's whole career. Constantly reminding you about how he did SUPER EVIL EXPERIMENTS on animals and humans that created these evil mutant creatures. It's honestly annoying because all it ever does is push those story elements in loading screens, and you don't really have a reason to care much about it since there isn't much of a story line to really follow anyways. You just go wherever the hell you like and shoot stuff, collect animals.

I was really hopeful for this game, and tried REALLY HARD to make it work (that's 24 hours of my life I'll never get back, thanks).
I love games and playing even terrible ones that are good in their own ways, but this one just makes me regret that 24 hours and wonder if developers will ever finish an early-release game. I will probably not ever buy one that is Early Access again because it seems that this typically means they've done all they want and are going to squeeze as much profit as they can out of a half-finished product rather than use it to get the resources/manpower to get it done and into a playable game.

Really fun and addictive game. The art is really pretty and the girls lines are hilarious. There are some annoying mechanics like how you cant change your date gifts at the start of a new game (and its really easy to forget to make them specific to that girl beforehand). It'd be nice if you could still change before you make a move.
I also accidentally activated alpha mode because I lost track of how many panties I'd turned in (There is no indicator) and have officially screwed myself on 100% the game unless I invest too much more time into it. So, not perfect but still tons of fun and super cheap to pick up during a sale.
