You just can't unlike this game

Good

Really, REALLY pretty game.

What can I say about Catherine that hasn't already been said? The art style is one of my favorites of any game I've ever played. This is my review of some of the highlight of this game!

-SPOILERS-

- The story is fantastic with an interesting viewpoint on the morality of cheating. Throughout the story, the "cheating" option leaves you going farther into the "bad" red zone. It even SEEMS to lead to go nowhere at a certain point during the story. However the ending leaves you in what many would consider a pretty good situation ;). One that contradicts modern viewpoints on what cheaters are supposed to get.
- The puzzle aspect of the story can get dry at times, leaving you wanting to get back to the story at some points. HOWEVER, it is still a lot of fun. Especially when the different blocks that do different things to the map start to show up, making everything more stressful throughout.
- The "daily life" simulator is actually really enjoyable. Everything from learning new things about drinks to little jump scares in the bathroom mirror makes it fun to walk around the bar.

Overall, Catherine is one of the best puzzle games of recent times without a shadow of a doubt. Pick it up now, or wait for a sale if you must, but buy it regardless.

This game is really, really fun. And as long as the Namcops don't forget about it and keep adding things this game could be really good for a loooong time.

Fluid combat is nice, and I like the lore which I feel you probably have to like in order to continuously play this game.

Can't get over the graphics, it makes me cringe...

This is a simple review.

10/10 - One of my all time favorite games.

Why the hell are you still reading this?

I picked up this game a while ago on a sale, and now that I have played it, I gotta say it's pretty awesome. Especially for how old the game is. I would even pick this up for 10$ without the sale.

10/10 would recommend the banter between squadmates.
