Early Access Review
Early Access ripoff like every ea game on Steam. It's broken, it's unfinished and it WILL remain that way. Avoid. Also avoid Lord Miner he seems like a tool.

Oh look another price dropped unfinished shovelware survival title! The moment the going gets rough the devs get running... away with the money. More empty promises, half finished game garbage spoon fed to us as a Steamy... "see what I did there?" pile of lies.

Avoid this and any game from these scam artists.

Let's be real, just avoid all early access games as they are rip off factories.

Early Access Review
Devs have abandoned this game, no updates for 7 months and no communication. As has been noted before by others the devs have even said publicly it is dead and lied about the funding and updates and continue to do so. Valve should be ashamed that this fraud is still listed on their store, and so should the Devs.

DO NOT BUY.

Early Access Review
TL:DR Version: Minecraft with zombies and really slow mining. Zombies on the roof. Broken legs and dysentery. Meh... not great not terrible. It is what it claims to be at this point. Minecraft with Zombies.

Long version:

You will get dysentery. You will spend hours of game time breaking one block with your pathetic tool. You will kill zombies. Bloated mutant flies will kill you. Zombies will spawn on your roof. Your spike traps will hurt you more than the mobs. Much much more.

Anti-biotics and ammo for your crossbow will be paramount to not dying. Guns are a waste they just draw more zombies and use more ammo to deal with them as they draw more zombies and use more ammo... ugh infinite loop encountered resetting....

Yes you can build and mine. Yes these things take time, lots of time. The controls are viable, if somewhat wonky.

The UI is decent but requires way too much micro-management for crafting.

Enemy AI is pretty bad. Zombies sense you from a mile away and relentlessly pound down your house till you kill them, not overly deadly with one exception. Basically the zombies are annoying more than a danger.

The exception is the fat cop zombie. He is a pain in the rectum. Vomits acid and explodes as well as taking a huge amount of hits to kill without a decent gun. He is the only real threat zombie wise.

Bloated mutant flies wasps etc. are a pain the hitbox is off and shotgunning is the only quick response to them.

You can craft lots of things, sadly material takes forever to gather. So that cramps the building aspect.

So yes, Minecraft with zombies and less than great gathering results in not quite a sandbox builder and not quite a survival.

Will it get better? Yes I expect it will, it is early on in the game and it will get better with time.

Is it worth the price tag? Maybe. Do you really love zombies and minecraft? Then sure pay up and enjoy it for what it is.

I would say this, look at the price as a down payment on what will become a good game one day.

7 of 10 will spend 12 hours mining a cement driveway block again.
