Good game. People have been talking about crashes but I only experienced 1 in my whole time playing. This game is stronger gameplay-wise than Bioshock 1 but the story I feel is kinda forgettable. I'd still recommend it if people liked Bioshock 1.

After playing Automata I thought I might as well try this game since I loved pretty much everything about that game. After finally getting ending E in Replicant, I'm left feeling pretty disappointed. Nothing about this game (besides maybe the music) comes close to Automata's level. The combat, graphics, story, and user interface all feel like a direct downgrade. Even the sidequests in this game are tedious and incredibly uninspired. I see everyone leaving reviews praising this game but I just don't get it. If you want to play Automata but are looking to get this game since it's the prequel, I wouldn't bother. It's really not necessary. If you really must get this game, wait until it's on sale. I got all achievements on Automata and I just can't bring myself to do it for this game.

5/10. Maybe a 6/10 on a good day.

Got all achievements, so needless to say I've played a bit of this game. I wish Steam had a "mixed" review option because I don't think this game is for everyone, yet I don't feel like it would be fair to vote "No" on this review since I did have a bit of fun with it.

I think my absolute biggest problem with this game is the fact that a lot of the missions in this game are not that fun. There are a few exceptions, but a lot of them play out the same and nothing really interesting happens (the later missions, especially the NG++ missions are definitely the best). I was also disappointed that there aren't many real boss fights in this game. I can count 9 actual bosses on the top of my head and the rest are really just mini bosses. I wasn't going into this game expecting a Souls experience, but I was always disappointed when a mission ended without any kind of boss at the end.

I also feel like the difficulty is worth mentioning since this is a From Software game. When I first played this game, I thought this game was insanely hard. I must of died to Balteus 30+ times. However, I later found out as I unlocked more parts that this game is VERY easy to cheese. There are certain parts you unlock pretty early in the game that can absolutely carry you through the entire game with ease. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to absolutely demolish your enemies, but it gets pretty ridiculous when you can kill bosses in a matter of seconds.

Also the music in this game is very mid. I get that a lot of people probably don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about music in a video game, but to me it definitely adds some oomph when something cool is happening in game. It's especially disappointing because previous From Software games, even previous Armored Core games had absolute banger soundtracks, but this one just really didn't do it for me, except for maybe 2 or 3 tracks.

All that being said, I do think the game is pretty solid. The story is pretty decent and I did come to like the characters near the end of the game, especially G1 Michigan and V.IV Rusty. Piloting your mech feels fantastic and there are LOTS of customization options. The PvP in this game is also very fast paced and fun. I might even say this is the best multiplayer experience From Software has to offer.

Would I recommend this game? I guess. If you are a big Armored Core fan, you will probably like this game. That being said, it's definitely not for everyone.

In its current stage of the game, Phasmophobia is a game that will give you ~10-20 hours of fun and not much more than that. While the concept is very intriguing, the game currently is very bare bones, not even worth 15 dollars imo. The dev is gonna have to get a lot of help to keep this game relevant for a long time. Otherwise, this game will be forgotten very quickly.
