Amazing, fast-paced, easy to learn, hard to master.

Addictive on its own, Risk of Rain is for those with a decent amount of time to sit around (I've had games run an hour and a half, but that's my own attention span being far too long), and is even more so for those with friends who ALSO have time to sit around. The game is wonderful when solo, if not mildly frustrating, but the multiplayer provides an excellent sense of cooperative play and team-based progression in a race against time.

Supports multicultural interaction, an immersive language learning environment for Spanish and Russian, roughly as exciting as a few games of strip checkers with a room full of supermodels (all the disappointment of losing included), -and- costs less than Rosetta Stone! 8/10 would commend Phantom Assassin again
