An incredible expansion to a great game, a must-have

Get it on sale, it's an enjoyable 2 hour -ish game

I don't like it.
I don't like that stratagems are so underwhelming and inconsistent despite their visual boom while having to rely on them.
I don't like that destroying bug nests and bot fabricators does nothing to change the enemy spawns in a mission.
I don't like that completing the main objectives causes the game to spawn a morbillion patrols on your location every other second.
I don't like that the mission objectives sometimes get soft-locked, preventing mission completion.

I don't like that, combining all of these things, my actions as a player often feel meaningless.

After launch, Bamco:
- Put in expensive micro-transactions, including a battle pass utilizing FOMO against its players.
- Started taking down social media posts showcasing and discussing mods for Tekken 8.

They updated the game to add paid mods, breaking a lot of existing mods in the process. I wonder to what extent this will damage the community's goodwill towards Bethesda.

Oh my god this game is so much better than any initial impression can convey, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play it

The metroidvania tag is misleading, this game plays mostly as a platformer and the inclusion of combat and its mechanics feel weak and contradictory to the gameplay. I question why combat was even included at all.

Outside of that, the art and music is great and carries the rest of the experience with ease.

Very good game

This is amazing, modern controls make this game very controller-friendly and allows a new degree of accessibility that I enjoy immensely. Previously the only fighting games I was able to actually enjoy were Tekken and Smash bros. I do wish though that Modern controls were less restrictive since playing Modern causes you to lose like half of your moveset or something.
