CK2 vs Civ is like Chess vs Checkers.

Fun game. I prefer turn based 4X to RTS, and I think this game suffers on the 4X side to accomodate RTS. But very addictive.

UPDATE: I thought the regular price was too high, but now it's on sale for 75% off, $9.99, and I think that's a great price for the game. They have made a lot of updates, bug fixes, and tweaks to the balance and XP since release, and it's improved a lot. They are listening to the players and are committed to more fixes and adding more content. Added several new weapons since release and are working on a new Raid named Silo.

Fun game. Cross between Payday: The Heist and Payday 2, set in WWII. Lots of varied RAIDS. More than in PD:TH, but not as many as in PD2. PD2 has been releasing several heists a year for 4 years, though, so that might not be a fair comparison. I think R:WW2 has more raids at launch than PD2 had heists at launch. This game uses a modified version of the same engine as PD2, and it will seem pretty familar to anyone who has played PD2. It's not as pretty as other brand new triple a games, but it's not nearly as bad as some people claim, and game play makes up for it.

The maps are very big compared to PD2, with quite a lot of variety. A lot of attention to detail. Lots of objectives to do, and quite a few clever challenges. Stealth is very different, and quite a bit more challenging than in PD2. Sometimes something seems impossible, until you figure out a clever way to do it, and that feels very rewarding. It's still early days though, and they are working still working on bugs and balance issues. They have been very responsive to the player base about working on bugs and balance.

Overall it's a good, fun game, that looks a couple years older than it is. But if you are a long time PD2 player who is looking for some new heists, well RAID has some pretty good raids that offer a change of pace.
