Have I really sunk 70 hours into 5 days? Yes.. yes I have and it was excellent for every minute.

I experienced no crashes, I didn't feel the need to buy anything, I relaxed and enjoyed the world exploration, the stories, and especially the combat. I am still on my first play through and trying to actively seek out any quests I can find before going after the big finale. The love the devs put into this world absolutely shows through at every level and I am constantly finding new nooks and crannies I thought I had fully explored opening up huge caves and areas I haven't seen yet.

My only real gripe is I wish the vocations had more ability slots like it did in DD1, but on the other hand they did add a lot more unique nuances to each vocation that are not a part of the slotted skills to use during combat so it feels fresh.

That being said some of my friends have had game breaking crashing occurring on their systems on high end PC's which is weird, because I just barely squeaked by on the recommended specs and haven't experienced that at all. Hopefully upcoming patches can get all that ironed on to make this a solid recommend.

Scratches that roguelike itch with a lil bit of exploration and loot farming. The art style is really cool and kinda gives me Hades vibes. There's a bit of skill required to dodge parry and time your attacks well in the boss fights as this isn't one of those auto-attacking roguelikes.

So far its pretty fun save for being a lil repetitive while trying to take down some of these bosses.

Game wouldn't even load at first because it kept crashing on the XBox sign in prompt. Turned out I had to go download some XBox app from third party location to get it to sign in properly only to find out that the 'private server' option offered in it is heavily policed by terms of service and zero customization options. So you can't really do anything you want to do without the game telling you to go to High Seas PVP server to unlock pretty much every feature the game has.

If you liked Valheim, then you're probably going to like this. The building system is very unique and probably one of the most versatile/best survival building systems I have seen and it's in very early access stages.

Wanna hollow out a boulder and make a Flintstone's cave house inside a random rock poking out of the landscape? You can. Want to make a hobbit house in the woods, a wizards tower, a flying island with a castle on it, a tree house? You can. It's been three days and I am still tinkering with the basic building blocks and haven't actually bothered to progress in the story/game.

This is more like light survival.. you wont die from starvation or hunger but instead you get health/stamina bonuses for eating and stacking food types much like Valheim's system. As a fan of the survival genre I already love this game.

This should not be online required -- at all. It seems intriguing enough but not until this mess is sorted out. :(

Legitimately very fun and engaging. It right away feels like Ark and Pokemon had a baby.. but it doesn't feel shallow when you play it.

Performance is shaky, crashes are numerous, updates constantly rewrite 72 gb worth of data multiple times a week, sometimes per day, Which let me tell you, is really great for the lifespan of your SSD.. Wildcard now announcing NEW paid DLC to go with the "free DLC" that consists of cosmetic outfits, engrams, and the dinos the "free" DLC maps were supposed to have added....... so pay to win, and backpedaling yet again on another promise, except this time we've already bought in on the lie.

On top of that they're pushing the paid mod thing harder, on a game we already paid for twice.. when does it stop?

Think you're going to bypass the jankyness and bug riddled experience playing single player? Nope, that's what I have been doing (because Nitrado is absolute dog**** and that's the only people you're allowed to have host it), and I've now had to restart my game from scratch for the fourth time because updates keep breaking the game or corrupting my saves.

Screw Snailgames, Wildcard, and Nitrado.

If you like Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, or the general era of great SNES JRPG games you are going to like this.. just get it.

Cyberpunk 2077 wishes its combat was this stylish and fun. THIS is how you should feel in a Cyberpunk world. Instantly hooked by this game.
