Early Access Review
Mixing game genres is a hit and miss chance that many developers make. Rarely do I find a game that is able to take multiple genres and mix them together into a worthwhile title that is enjoyable and not over complicated. Slay the Spire has taken the Rogue-lite, Dungeon-Crawling, and Card-Playing Mechanics and melded them together into a cornucopia of pure gaming goodness. Even in Early Access Mega Crit Games has hit a Home run with this one.

Gameplay revolves around taking a character ( of which at this time there are two ) and exploring a randomly generated Spire. The Map is laid out in a fashion rather similiar to FTL or other games of that type if you are familiar. You choose from different points, they can be an Encounter, Chest, Rest Area, Mystery zone, Boss, or Shoppe.
The Encounter zones are filled with lots of various creatures all with different abilities. Fighting these creatures is based around a deck of cards that you build up during each run from the beginning, making your strategies change as you go through the dungeons again. Combat in Slay the Spire is great because you can see what the intent of the creatures is, giving you an opportunity to counter it with defense if needed. If you have the cards of course.
Chest Zones contain rellics which are items that you collect that change gameplay through your run. You can collect multiple of these and make gameplay even that much more different for each run.
The rest area allows you to heal or upgrade cards in your deck. It also allows you to do other actions depending on what relics you may have collected up to the rest area you are visiting.
A Mystery zone can contain a variety of things, You can spin a wheel, remove a card from your deck, answer questions, get cursed, even have an encounter.
The Boss/Elite zones are like the encounter zones, they just have higher level baddies to fight and a relic to be obtained at the end.
The Shoppe Zones allow you to purchase cards, relics, and potions to help you on your way.

Slay the Spire is a must buy from me. Even in Early Access. The price is well worth it and reasonable for a title I guarantee you'll have a good time with. Workshop Support makes this an even further no-brainer. :sm:

Easily The best Park Mangment game on the market today. It can be a beast however when creating large parks. Graphics look great and with newest update, adds a whole new level of staff management. Must Buy.

Well with a few hours sunk into the "Vanilla" experience. I have recently Discovered Mods and wow, this game and its engine are great for producing a really well put together Strategy builder. The polish that has been given to this title makes it an awesome gaming experience. The learning curve was a bit steep at first. But, there are several great guides that are available in the Community hub that makes this a 'null' point. Plan to spend some time in this one if you pick it up.

Back in action from Alawar Entertainment, are the Frenzied Farmfolk and of course Scarlett in Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho.

**I was given this title for review purposes**

Graphics + Sound

The Graphics are the same as we have come to expect from The Farm Frenzy Series. Flash Style Critters animate nicely. Good Sound Effects that have been in the other games. Nothing to write home about music. 6/10

Gameplay

This plays exactly like any other Farm Frenzy Title. The formula is the same. You are tasked with growing a Farm from the ground up and exporting your goods accordingly. Except this time you're trapped on an island. Alawar Entertainment needs to step it up and add something new to the series to get it going again. The same old routine just doesn’t hack it anymore for this guy. However it is still a fun little title to pass your time. And if pirates are your thing and you love casual games this is the title for you. 6/10

Yargis: Space melee is the debut title from Plazsoft. It is a top down Space action title.

*I was given this copy for review purposes*

Graphics

The Graphics in Yargis are Great for the feel of the game. Brilliant explosions, beautifully drawn planets, and cratered asteroids. Overall I was impressed with the graphics in Yargis. 8/10

Sound

The music has a nice “space theme” to it. Explosions, lasers, missiles, all sorts of weaponry sound great and fit the game brilliantly. The sound in Yargis is top notch and it shows the developer has put alot into it. Overall I was impressed with the sound in Yargis. 8/10

Overall Gaming Experience

Yargis missions mode are varied and done well. Dogfighting being my particular favorite. Racing not so much. The controls are a bit hard to get used to as it feels like you are on oil. The controls make the racing levels a bit harder for me as you bounce off the walls. The boundaries are a little hard to spot sometimes on some levels. The Multi player includes Capture the flag, deathmatch, and last man standing to name a few. There are plenty of multiplayer choices. However the player base is very low. Single player however will keep you busy for hours with its varied modes as well. Overall I was im pressed with Yargis and rate it a 7/10. Wait for a sale though the price tag is a bit steep.

Farm Frenzy:Hurricane Season is a delightful little time waster sequel to the popular Farm
Frenzy series.

**I was given this copy for review purposes**

Graphics

Buka Entertainments graphics in this game are not something to write home about, but they
get the job done. Basic Flash Style Bears, Chickens, cats, cages and backdrops fill every
screen. Every animal is delightfully animated as it romps across the farm land.. I Would
have liked to see a little more variety in backdrops. 6/10

Sound

The music in Farm Frenzy is in a country funk rockabilly type style. There are multiple
tracks so you do not get tired of the same old one as quickly. As quickly meaning that
after a few levels, I was forced to mute the music. The sound effects are fitting and work
well with the atmosphere of the game. 5/10

Gameplay

So the story is, a hurricane has wiped out your farm and its up to you to rebuild it. This is done by completing certain tasks, such as “have your chickens lay 5 eggs”. It is all done through an easy to pick up "point and click" interface. As you move along in progression different buildings and animals are required to complete the tasks given. You earn money to unlock these buildings in between missions. You also unlock other helpful farm animals, such as a dog, and other critters. There is also a Slot machine that

you earn spins with, but I never won anything. 7/10

Overall opinion

I go into each review with the audience that the game is designed for in mind. With that
said, I would say this game is great. Each level acts a tutorial, for the next levels
coming up. Also there are stickers to collect in game. A delightful time waster for all
ages, easy to pick up and play. Farm Frenzy Hurricane season gets a solid 7/10

Okay what can i say about this game. Id say buy it cause Its all sorts of Happy puppies and rainbows wrapped up in tiny little skeletons and baddies that you have to bash open mercilessly to realease their goodness like an american filled pinata. I saw a documentary once where these mexicans filled their pinatas with fruit and the berries exploded all over and the kids were like eating this dirty fruit. but anyways... play this its better than a mexican pinata.
