This game has horrible pacing issues, they throw random stuff at you instead of propogating good level design. It's a constant mess of not really knowing where you are or where you're meant to go- and if your puzzles need narration to figure out what you actually need to do, you're best off redesigning the puzzles or forgoing them entirely.

The story itself while straight forward is plagued by random cutscenes of things happening to a character you're not at all invested in, it's jacked in for no good reason and the investment isn't at all gradual; the overbearing flashbacks are very annoying and break up an already slow pacing to a crawl.

Bonus note; disabling the sprint feature to make your game longer is not very intuitive nor enjoyable - the jumps are living hell and you need to master the arts of the quicksave button to find this at all playable.

The only thing I enjoyed was the gunplay and hearing Adam - who in the intro had a Russian name and is now Adam for some reason - say "full magazine" on repeat, that was pretty funny. Don't download this 9 gigabyte game, not good.

10/10 it's a mastapece

One of the most unique and genuinly interesting games of the last decade.
Still holds up five years later, once you've nailed the mechanics you're in for a journey

PS: Use the automated doors to starve a room of oxygen and put out a fire or killing invading crew... Or just, you know, kill that one crew member you have that's completely useless.

It's ok, played it for 30 minutes and got bored.









Developers stopped caring about the game, but if you pick it up regardless, stick to only community servers and try to find a roleplay server. Official server's are plagued by hackers, really fun game once you get into it but seeing as how the developers left the game with plenty of bugs and otherwise game-destroying exploits the only way to really enjoy it is a server with strict rules and active administrators to enforce those rules, if you have both of those criteria it's a great game.
