Hourglass is a short but sweet first-person puzzle game. The time-travel mechanic was great, and I enjoyed the unique challenges it created. It was very satisfying to solve the complex puzzles that required lateral thinking. Reminded me of playing Portal for the first time.

Though Terraria is down a dimension compared to Minecraft, it more than makes up for it with its fun combat and unique weapons. It has many many hours worth of content, which is even more enjoyable with friends in multiplayer. The game suits any playstyle, whether your focus is adventuring for loot, resource-gathering for survival, or building beautiful structures.

One of the best games I’ve ever played. It excels in all categories: Gameplay is satisfying and fun, the art direction is stellar, the soundtrack is beautiful, and the story just keeps on giving. NieR:Automata really takes advantage of its format as a videogame by using gameplay mechanics as part of the storytelling process.

Rime is a beautiful game. It’s chock-full of gorgeous-looking environments, keeps you engaged with fun and creative puzzles, and has an emotional story shrouded in mystery.

Fun gameplay that never becomes dull and an emotional, character-driven story are tied together with a visually-stunning world.
