Bought it for almost $40 back in 2020. So far I think it's fair to say I regret my decision.

Even though it's not a bad game, it's nowhere near as realistic or immersive as 2014 Insurgency or even the 2007 Half-Life 2 Mod. The cringe outfits definitely don't help either, there should be an option to not see them in the settings. It also has more of an arcade-style game-play to it too compared to the previous Insurgency titles. Obviously Sandstorm excels in everything like better graphics and gun mechanics, but it just doesn't seem like an Insurgency game to me. If you've ever had the pleasure of playing the Mod, or even the first standalone game, you'll know where I'm getting at.
