I've played my fair share of games. Some spectacular, some atrocious. Zombie Zoeds isn't spectacular. It isn't atrocious. It is beyond any word the English language cares to give. Never before have I found such immersion, such clever dialogue and such clever combat in a game before - not to mention, the graphics are ineffable. There are also some of the most amazing hidden easter-eggs the world of videogames has ever had the pleasure of seeing, with the first one topping them all: if you walk to the top of the map too fast, the main menu buttons/icons glitch into the map and are visible. Breathtaking.

Skyrim? Pfft. The Witcher 3? Pfft. Star Citizen? Pfft. Why play any of that ♥♥♥♥ when you can play this masterpiece, Zombie Zoeds?

This game is visually beautiful. As for auditorily? Well, my friend, that is entirely up to you. This is a game where, to the rhythm of your own music, you blast your way through waves of enemies in a grand show of beautiful colours. There is indeed nothing quite like it.

I love it.

The original is a spectacular game with which one can play for hours upon hours upon hours upon hours without boredom setting in.

My personal favourite is the expansion, Napoleonic Wars. Charging at your opponents, whether it be with music or weaponry, whilst in the background plays the greatest classical music the world has to offer, is as hilarious as it is ineffably enjoyable. Never shall I tire of dramatic battles suddenly coming to a halt, merely because someone felt that playing a flute was a better idea.

No matter the complications one must deal with in real life, this game will undoubtedly always place a smile upon your face.

I care not of the changes (or, lack thereof according to the majority) from the original Age of Empires II, for I enjoy playing one of my favourite games (from when I was younger) in high-definition. Its existence on Steam makes playing with friends far easier. The only real downside to the game (not the HD edition excusively but rather Age of Empires II itself), I feel, is that the leap in AI difficulty from standard to moderate is ridiculous and rather overwhelming for players whose skill levels aren't exactly top-notch; standard is too easy whilst moderate is often rather difficult. With that being said, once you refine your skills, you will get the hang of the moderate AI.

If you are a fan of Real-Time-Strategy games, I would recommend that you purchase this.
